Its official Life Is Strange Double Exposure titled Life Is Strange 4 has finally been announced! At long last here is Life Is Strange 4! Here is my new video on the news/updates for Life Is Strange "Double Exposure" Developed by Deck Nine Games from the reveal live stream! LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE is an all-new supernatural murder mystery that will excite both new and returning players. LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE will launch on Xbox Series X|S consoles, PlayStation 5®, and PC on October 29, 2024, and is also coming to Nintendo Switch. Max Caulfield, photographer-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University, discovers her closest new friend, Safi, dead in the snow. Murdered. To save her, Max tries to Rewind time - a power she’s not used in years… instead, Max opens the way to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive, and still in danger! Max realizes the killer will soon strike again - in both versions of reality. Only Max can Shift between the two parallel timelines to solve and prevent the same murder.

My current crazy theory is that Max began shifting back and forth when she passed out by the statue, and kept shifting during the leadup to finding Safi... which tbh seems kind of obvious, it explains the eerie weirdness when walking up to Safi. But the crazy part is... what if when she touched Safi's body, she shifted again, putting the living Safi in the universe where she was murdered and her body in the universe where no killer had been on the scene? Explains the missing footprints, and why a detective suspects Max did it.

5:06 in the option to Sacrifice Arcadia Bay, Max takes another photo - The same photo from Lis2 with the green-haired Chloe. It was noticed on reddit. This will 100% change the conversation between Max and Safi in the cafe. In fact, I really hope that Max left Chloe only temporarily to, for example, get a special degree at Caledonian University or something like that :) Pricefield Forever, Max, Chloe, Rachel, Alex, Steph and Safi onelove 💙🦋🌀 💚🦋🌀

If I was in charge of making these games, I would’ve made two games back to back. Two teams working on them so their release date would be pretty close to each other. One of them would follow the “sacrifice Chloe” option and the other would follow the “sacrifice Arcadia Bay” option. So one game would feature only Max (like the upcoming Double Exposure game) and the other would feature both Max and Chloe.

It's true that, realistically, the Max that saved Arcadia Bay and the Max that saved Chloe should have two drastically different lives, and therefore should have two entirely different adventures. It's a bit unrealistic to think that in the two timelines, Max ends up at the same point in her life, in the same town, with the same clothes, living the adventure of Double Exposure. But let's be real, I don't think that Decknine has the manpower to do two Life is Strange games at once X) Game studios have their limits.

Yeah, but then that’s two different games for players to buy… which sounds like it would be a smart move on DeckNine’s part, but I think players would (understandably) be upset about how much money it would cost. Just the base game costs close to 70 Canadian dollars on Steam, and the “ultimate” edition is nearly 110 Canadian dollars (not sure what the equivalent would be in American dollars or in the currency of other countries… using Canada as a reference because that’s where I live.) The economy is shit and I don’t know how many casual players would be willing to drop at minimum $140 on two games being released simultaneously Pokémon-style. I’ve been a huge fan of Life is Strange for years, but I personally just wouldn’t have the money to buy both games if it was done that way. I think putting half the story behind a separate paywall would just make a lot of people upset.

In regards to Chloe, people need to calm down. Felice Kuan worked in Before the Storm with Ashly Burch to get Chloe right. So its highly unlikely that Chloe will be done dirty in the new game.

@@ElieDaPlug_2 I actually played Lis 1 and true colors back to back (I am new to the franchise) so when I played true colors I found it to be very similar to Lis 1 in a lot of ways so I also suspected jed as he was one of the most supportive characters in the game kinda similar to how Mr.jefferson was very supportive until the true side was shown....

I hope they also consider the current situation in the Life is Strange comics, which discusses the choice to let the Arcadia Bay storm pass, allowing Chloe and Max to leave. I have the impression that this game will have a "parallel" connection to the continuation of these comics (judging by the story, I’m avoiding spoilers, but it seems very connected as well).

@@CelestialStar46 nope. they’re *officially licensed and recognized by the devs.* but they aren’t considered canon to the story bc it mainly follows the *Bae* ending. there’s also some inconsistencies with LiS 2 like *(the town being rebuilt)* even tho it’s still destroyed in the game, if u saved Chloe. (Seen by Sean in Ep 1). Another example is them moving *back to Arcadia* even tho in LiS 2, David said they’re in *New York.*

Imagine if Max is confronted by the Max she saw in the dinner in the nightmare sequence. You know it sucks tho because Max looses her Safi and only gets to save another iteration of her. So either Max’s time powers return towards the end or we have to choose between living in the original universe or the alternate universe. I hope we get a direct LiS2 reference like how we got a direct LiS1 reference in LiS2

I just realized that well, Deck Nine is maybe doing literally something like what PS did with God of War, where in GoW 3 Kratos's story was "finished". And, well, created completely new story of Kratos in 2018 and Ragnarok with his backstory from previous 3 games occurring in greece mythology. Dont get me wrong i like this idea.

I think Chloe might have died prior to this story regardless of how you chose in OG. The developers said they honored the ending but never said what happens afterward. I think this is the only way to make sense of why Max would start anew without Chloe. And I do believe at some in the game we are going to see Chloe when the story goes further into the supernatural part because the dev is so open about not predetermining a cannon ending which outright tells you Chloe's presence in a normal scenario is impossible without dramatically changing its storyline. This seems like a red herring for some later surprise.

Chloe must be alive. How does max has a pic of chloe with blue hair if she went back in time to let chloe die?! There was no time for pics since she had to let nathan kill chloe which means she only had the pic of the butterfly by the end of the game unless u can keep other pictures if u go back in time😂 But her going back in time again means that she couldn’t keep any of the photos they got together,because that week they spent together doesn’t exist anymore!

So interesting, whether you Saved Chloe or Saved Warren both are missing. Chloe dead or Chloe breakup and Warren Dead, Warren Breakup. I had a playthrough of Max as straight as the story allows with a Warren "romance" and still chose to save Chloe. I hope Kate is mentioned.

Hopefully us as fans can tell Deck Nine, that we want Chloe back, we want Max and Chloe. We know Deck Nina wants are money, and they listen to us for a sequel for the first LIS game. That we waited for so long for a sequel and now we got sequel, that’s not what I expected for a sequel. But hopefully they can listen to us again and make another game with Max and Chloe, not just Max. Since Max can travel both timelines, what if there was a timeline where Chloe and the Town where are okay. To justify both endings, I think it would be cool if Max can see the future as well, since her powers keep evolving or bring back rewind.

So my question is if Max is shifting into a new timeline what happens to the Max in that timeline? Because if she goes into one and people call her Max that means there is another Max. Where is she? Does Max take over her mind and body sorta like Quantum Leap? Is Max leaving her dimension whenever she shifts? Got to explain why she be gone. So many questions. Loved the original game! what if the killer has basically the same storyline as Max from the first game he or she kills the girl in that timeline to save another in his or her timeline basically a Max story from a different perspective or it could be a revenge story being that they have powers they found out what Max did to save chole in the first game and doing so one of there family members died or someone close but only found out after attaining the power 10 years later

My only complaint is that you need to pay extra £30 more to play 2 weeks early. Elden Ring is only £65 with DLC. Spoilers will be all over the place, and it's not good since this is a story game. I have to leave the subreddits and unsubscribe to youtubers when the time comes near.

We are the old fans and players i played both life is strange and before the storm many times, i was waiting on a new part in which they bring back Chloe Max together and they both try to save Rachel for one more time by using max's time powers ......but they created this stupid shit for new players i mean seriously ????
