I think that Chloe is going to be in it however with the two different timelines she’ll only be in one. The one where Safi is killed I believe will stem from the ending where Chloe is killed by Nathan while in the universe where safi is alive Max and Chloe will still be close friends leading to max never meeting Safi. Then Max will have to try and prevent A random strangers death while trying to explain it to her that she’s dead in another timeline.

Please bring Chloe back 😭❤️

Max is back and i am so happy to see her grown into a young woman, her powers developed into timeline travel, but i am also still afraid that they made a canon that chloe is dead....but it will be a great time for LiS fans (because for me Rage and Bloom is basically in the same spirit) :)

hey guys, the way max's expanded power seems to work looks SUPER similar to what she can do in the comic books (which are set in one possible timeline after the first game ends).

Since the "new" power is the power she gained on the comics, I doubt we won't have Chloe in some way. If they exclude Chloe all together, they basic throw the comics in the trash

I honestly wasn't expecting this game to be a part of the Xbox showcase. Because they had a tonne of big games to show. I've played every LIS game on Xbox and basically any other story focused game inspired by this series and other developers like Telltale. I love that it was shown on the big stage.

I was definitely one of the crowd at the intro 😆 I still can’t believe it’s actually happening and sooner than all of us expected. Maybe they’re keeping Chloe as a surprise appearance. I’ve seen a theory that both realities are both endings of life is strange 1.

I'm still amazed square answered me and then GASP deleted their reply!!!😮 But with the narrative director going 'YOU tell me ;) ' really seems like we get Bay/Bae choice. I hope so too because I'd like to see what both choices are like and how Max is impacted by those choices. I remember being worried about the rumor at first, but seeing the trailer has me really hype! To actually see it on screen gave me chills! I think my one major worry was Chloe because I'm a pricefield fan and I need my pricefield but I'm hoping Bae/Bay choice so we get to learn Chloe and Max are together in Bae even if they're apart while Max is at the University. I feel like it's either gonna be a Bae/Bay choice OR Chloe will appear in alternate reality if the game is set in Bay. Also your reaction to the trailer was so wholesome omg Max is back!! I first heard about these rumors way back in I don't even know when. I knew the person with the leak of TC's name didn't really know anything more about TC or the future Max game than I knew, as they just stole info from other leakers (including through DM and not just public posts). But then we didn't hear anything for a long time so I wondered if Square Enix ever moved forward on making the game. And then several months ago there was that other person on Reddit who talked about attending a marketing focus group and shared some new details and it all seemed so genuine because I knew of TC leaks coming from a similar focus group. And just as that was shut down when Square reminded someone of an NDA this person's Reddit account was quickly deleted... so, it made me become quite confident that Square actually was working on this game at least for awhile. And then the Deck Nine controversy recently straight-up mentioned Aperture, and it was only then that I really understood the project wasn't dead and that a new LiS was probably going to come out involving Max. I still wasn't expecting it to be announced yet though. I was expecting months more of waiting - assuming Deck Nine didn't fully collapse in the meantime. While the trailer does echo TC's trailer with a mystery regarding a character's death & some of those costume ads look so much like the SIMS, I'm still excited for the game overall and hope it will be good. Like you, I'll be buying the Ultimate Edition and playing when it comes out. For better or worse. Hopefully better.

I was watching the event with almost zero expectations other than wanting to see more Fable. Perfect Dark caught me off guard, and then LIS. I cannot wait for this. I've restarted a fresh play on the Remaster last night since it's been 5+ years since playing it. October cannot get here fast enough. Also, I never doubted your theories. I have friends that told me I was stupid for believing your videos. Even though I take all rumors with grains of salt. Deep down I knew it was coming at some point. And here we are. Lets fucking go!

One day, when I was browsing through games by chance, I came across a game called “Life is Strange.” I saw a picture of the game that attracted me. My curiosity prompted me to play this game, and after i played it that it became the best game I have ever played in my life, without exaggeration. And Max I love her so much It's really different game without her That's for sure.

I agree with what you said about life is strange true colors I thought it was just me that game was way too short. In my opinion I felt as though you didn’t spend enough time with the characters. Even life is strange before the storm had three episodes and I feel as though I had more time with Chloe and Rachel. Then I did true colors and my personal opinion. And when I read on Google that we’re gonna have all the episodes at one time I start to get a little worried don’t get me wrong. Having all the episodes is a great thing and that’s no problem. I love that but if it’s gonna cost you to shorten the game, I would rather have it be episodic. In a monthly fashion.

There's also a rumor that the 2 different timelines are the 2 endings of lis1, so in one of those realities Chloe is alive, in the other one she died. That way they could also deal with the 2 endings, but they'd have to pick which one is the true reality. If they just don't wanna pick then ig it'll be same as lis2 so it asks you which ending you chose

For the most part the games are affected in some way by the last ones. Life is Strange has taken some techniques from how Tale Tale games made their games. But at the same time, it could change that and make it so one ending is cannon. Because obviously in the first game it was Max wanting to save Chloes life that made her powers manifest themselves. But something that wasn't clear to me, and this very well could be answered in later games since I've only played Life is Strange and Life is Strange Before the Storm, is whether or not Max still has her powers if she sacrifices Chloe. I've always kind of taken it as she had to give up her powers and Chloe to save Arcadia Bay since the only mention I could find of Max and her powers in other games (through various internet searches) is if she scarifies Arcadia Bay. But I also understand that it can keep both endings as canon and if Max did sacrifice Chloe, she just chooses never to use her powers again anyway. Because the sources on Max if Chloe dies is so vague. If Max saves Chloe, we have all these other sources like the comics (I know they're not canon but they make a good example) where Max jumps into a different timeline where Rachel Amber is still alive and in those, she chooses not to use her powers again. So, it could go either way of making only one ending from the first game canon or keeping both as an option but based off how all the other games are affected by this, I do agree with you that both endings will still be an option. But the complication with this is Max and Chloe, obviously given that no one is likely to believe them about why Arcadia was destroyed, would most likely still be very tight if you saved her especially since all throughout the games there were more intimate feelings and choices you could make for them, but even without those feelings they would still most likely be very tight to the point where I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't be by each other's side physically in some way shape or form.But it gets complicated because obviously with the endings from the first game being very different from each other they would have to write basically 2 different scripts to have one with Chloe then one without her. Because I personally think if Max saved Chloe, but they had a falling out or grew apart that it would leave a terrible taste in fans mouth because even in real life when 2 or more people go through something so big that there's not a lot of people who can relate to them, those people are very unlikely to get separated or grow apart. So I feel like the devs are kind of in a tough spot with this. Because on one hand they could make only one ending from the first game canon which would displease fans as it takes away from the magic these kinds of games have by making it so your decisions have an impact on later games. Then the alternative would be still having both endings canon but having no justice to Chloe if you chose to save her as you can't include Chloe in very small parts, and she would need to still have a noticeable roll with Max or it would seriously displease fans since Chloe quickly became one of, if not the most popular characters in the series. So honestly the best option for fans would be to have 2 very different scripts depending on the ending, which in turn would make it so we basically have 2 different games which wouldn't be ideal for the devs and it would be very expensive. So, I think the best option for both parties would be to make the ending where you save Chloe canon. Even though this will ruin the magic of how these games affect each other I feel like this would create the least amount of tension with the community.

Again hear me out people complained about true colors being to short, this is a chance for them to make both endings cannon. Make one of the realities one where you do save Chloe and spend a lot of time with her. Like max going through the timelines of lis1 where when she goes back in time max is still there just not aware of what's going on. So boom 2nd chapter you go to the different reality and when the screen loads back in Chloe sitting in front of you. Her not knowing you're max from a different timeline she's unfazed but max just takes it in. How life would be if she did save Chloe. How it be different. Chapters dedicated to that would be pad out the runtime.

The first game is really really close to my heart so I am just a little tiny bit worried about this game because they are again going with a murder mystery. That basically makes it 3/5 LIs games to be murder mystery. I really hoped they had some new type of adventure. I also really hope they make this game really good as an independent title and not just a game for fan service which is why I was of the opinion that this game should have been a direct sequel to the first one and not an independent title. But time will tell and hopefully I am wrong and the game turns out great!

I'd like to think that Chloe will appear along with Max since she did not in Wavelenghts where she was supposed to. They were both mentioned in that game so we could probably meet with them now. Just like True Colors Double Exposure has a similar story when it comes to rumors. They're not wrong and almost everything is correct. Keep up the great content as always! Love this franchise!

At 3:27 i personally think that COULD be rachel amber or perhaps chloe with her long blonde hair back from like when she was a kid. To me she looks alot like Rachel amber so itll be interesting to see if this is maybe rachel in another parallel universe, since you know Max has all those cool abilities and stuff. I also think the older lady either looks like one of two: Joyce alot older with darker hair or the homeless lady outside the diner from life is strange 1. This could be all wrong, but id like to believe these could be the case. Itll be interesting to see which way they go with this new game. CANNOT WAIT

Someone showed me an image from Square Enix's website for this game that shows a green comet in the night sky. This makes me want to bring Asteroid Theory back. 😂 But yeah the comet / asteroid / shooting star / whatever probably has some kind of significance, even if it's just "Max's power behaves differently because some comet is passing by."
