It has been over 2 years since The Wolf Among Us 2 Reveal Trailer from Telltale Games was released! We know last year Telltale Games confirmed via social media that The Wolf Among Us 2 was delayed until at least 2024! The Wolf Among Us Season 2 now with a 2024 release confirmed has all eyes now moving to later Summer 2024 for big news or the next major look at the game! With the Summer Game Fest giving us nothing it seems Telltale has to drop big news on the game soon if the game is to release this year! Telltale Games just released new screenshots of The Wolf Among Us 2 along with an update on the game over two months ago! Telltale last stated: We’ve been quiet because we’ve been heads down, focusing on the promise of TWAU2 While we can't give a big update yet, here’s a little something for you: In-progress shots from the current build. The work continues. The Fabletown gang will be back. Thanks for being fans. We will discuss when Telltale Games could drop some major news and talk about the gameplay of the game! Can we get 1000 Likes? Bigby and Snow are returning to untangle more mysteries in the much-anticipated sequel to one of Telltale’s most beloved games, The Wolf Among Us. Award-winning voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette are back to breathe life into the main characters (Bigby and Snow). The lead writer, creative/game director, and composer of the original game are back for another trip into the dark universe of Vertigo’s Fables graphic novels in The Wolf Among Us 2.

it is getting ridiculous now, after waiting almost 11 years and nothing huge has happened, I hate to say it, but I don't think I have hope anymore. I've been super patient but I'm losing my patience now, i was looking forward to this game, I'm getting really bored playing season 1 over and over I want a new story.

THIS! If their studio isn’t doing well, this is the biggest thing I think about. They have a solid fanbase that have been asking for continuations of great things they’ve already had success in. Especially after TWAU2 was already confirmed and teased… why in the world would they decide to create and release a brand new series first?? Such a poor plan, whoever’s idea that was at the studio needs to answer some questions lol. I’m all for supporting Telltale creating new things, but choosing to finish The Expanse before an already confirmed and beloved series is crazy. I hope we will be pleasantly surprised and see TWAU2 come to life 2024-2025, but like Dom said my hopes are low :(

I feel like new TTG has made two major mistakes: 1. The Expanse 2. Getting rid of episodic releases; if Wolf 2 was being released in episodes still they’d have more consistent cash flow, as well as being able to prove audience interest to investors for fundraising purposes to make sure that they can stay afloat financially to complete the game

The Expanse didn’t really impact the development of Wolf 2 as The Expanse was mostly developed my Deck Nine. We also saw that the whole industry was impacted by employee cuts. The real mistake they made was switching to a new version of Unreal. Like it was kind of ridiculous that they would change the engine they were using half ways though development.

@@Kobalt_Rax_the_one I may be wrong but the reason they failed in 2017 was because they were making too much games and lost money, and seeing how they're taking their time now I dont think that's the case(hoping the game wont flop ofc). I agree with the trailer part tho, like if you cant release it by the end of the year at least tell us and give us something

"Let them cook" ppl say, but the pot is boiling that is aching to spill. The frustration is completely understandable because we need something. I do agree with Dom that screenshots aren't enough for the time span of 2 years. We need something!! I want to remain positive, but it is getting ridiculous and heartbreaking at this point. My heart just broke in a million pieces when I didn’t see this game at the summer game fest, I’m willing to support this company either financially or emotionally but if they don’t give us something to start with how to hell are they expecting us to keep being optimistic about TWAU 2. The last hope we got is gamescom and if they don’t show up anything to us then there might me a big chance that this game is extremely delayed or even worse… cancelled. We need telltale back !!!

I was thinking TWAU2 might be coming out late this year since I was hoping they try to keep their promise to release it on 2024, but I just realized Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is coming out late this year so yeah just like Dom said, it will be most likely gonna be out in next year 😥

They never should have done the expanse. I feel like that's what really screwed this whole thing up. If they just focused on Wolf Among Us too, they probably would have been able to deliver a better project that was more financially successful but because they chose to do the expanse which wasn't very successful and nobody really wanted they've sort of had to reshuffle everything

A 2025 release date spells DOOM almost as much as cancelling it outright imo. How can it be almost 3 years since you dropped a trailer and the only thing you feel that you can show off as a studio is 4 screenshots? Crazy. Last we heard they had mass lay offs, swapped teams 2x since TWA1 and they were meant to be handling the game ‘in house’. Really think they’ll go bankrupt before this game comes out, hopefully they release the script or something though.

Feels like the next update we're going to get is a confirmation that it's dead. If they had anything to show, any reasonable person would have shown it by now. There would be no legitimate reason not to. I'm convinced this game is never coming now, and I'm just going to move on and forget about it.

Personally for me the biggest red flag was the announcement and release of The Expanse. For a studio that shut down for producing too many games at once while ALREADY working on a project that was announced 5 years ago (7 if we count before Telltale's bankruptcy) was shocking. A friend of mine put it perfectly: "If Telltale wants to complete The Wolf Among Us 2 by the initial release date of 2024, they would need to have The Expanse be the GREATEST video game they have ever made." And to be honest, I haven't met a single person who played the game; myself included. The layoffs were inevitable given the low sale numbers. The way I see it, TWAU2 will either be cancelled or be released much later than 2025. On your earlier video I commented if they don't announce updates on the game at SummerFest I'm giving up on the wait. And I'm going to stick with that promise. It is clear that Telltale has not learned their lesson pre-bankruptcy. Then again I may be proven wrong, but given their track record that's very unlikely. Good luck Telltale, it was a blast!

Trying to stay positive, but I have a feeling we are high on copium. They released first trailer in 2019, after being revived for a year. I'm sorry but 5 years for TTG style adventure is just absurd. There's no excuse, nor explanation for that. These types of games take up to year by small team of people. After watching this video, I believe that TTG only exists as a brand, but isn't even active.

I really am losing hope, I’ve been waiting forever. Watching new people pick up the game and have fun and be ready for another just to be let down is honestly so messed up. Guys, there's still a chance for TWAU2 to come out. Because they didn't tell us that it would be canceled. And they also showed some screenshots. That means they're still making this game. At the moment, they are in full concentration. That is, if you take your time, the game will be better than The Expanse. You'll drive on more quietly. We're already more half way into 2024... so when is it coming out? Also will the game be released fully? Or will it only be 1 episode?

Before telltale went silent in communication, they said that the game was going to be done before episode 1 even dropped, and fans would only have to wait two weeks or so per episode. Reportedly the game was/is set to be coming out in 2024, but so far we have heard nothing. The CEO said that we should expect something in early 2024, but obviously that didn’t happen. At this point the game may not even come out at all, if not this year or the next year.

I’m still positive this game is still happening and here are my reasons why 1 . We haven’t heard anything about the game being cancelled at all so it’s still a possibility they’re still working very hard on it 2 . Remember that one comment that says this always happens when Dom rants about something no offense Dom BTW your always awesome 3 . Remember they are trying to make all the episodes available we don’t have to buy them (if I remember correctly that is) So there are my reasons on why I’m positive on this game still being developed

I honestly never thought I'd see the day that you would finally lose your patience for TWAU2 Dom. And it breaks my heart to see you do so. But at this point everyone will just has to face it, TellTale is never going to follow through on this game. And if they ever do then there's a good chance that no one is gonna want to play the game, And people would have every right to not want to play the game after evrything TellTale has done.

I mean i'm holding on hope it'll release this year because maybe they just don't wanna announce it 6 months in advance and give people a chance to forget, but also my god it's so painful to wait, I REALLY hope that there'll be some news soon, and honestly I just wanna play another episode by telltale, it'll come soon enough we just to need to hold onto hope

This feels like an MCU "Blade" situation. Another production hell. And here I thought them taking this long was to give this game Detroit Become Human choice-based scale. Expected a little too much for telltale to learn from their mistakes.

Oh man, it looks like they ran out of money and had to lay everyone off. The game will be like Rockstar's Agent. It's cancelled, but not announced officially. What a shame. While I was really anticipating a sequel, I do think they should have tried to make a new WD game before Wolf. It's just more popular and would bring audiences back. I think WD: Rick Grimes or WD: Daryl Dixon in the Telltale universe could draw eyes. A real hope of mine is just reboot from the end of season 1 and have Lee live. The game will pick up with him just trying to find Clementine.

Well I downloaded the first season because it was 5 bucks through sony's days of play promotion and I was fine going digital for this game considering it releases in waves. So, whenever it comes, i'll be ready.
