Jon got mad after I gave him a compliment. Don, you turned it around, made my time with you a positive memorable experience. I'll never forget you for that and greatly appreciate it. But thanks for sharing that, never saw it whenever I saw you on stage or in person. I know as the band leader we all have to do things we don't like, maybe you should talk to Jon about not getting angry about taking compliments as it relates to him being able to play George Lynch. I'm not the only one. You don't make fans that way.

Dio and Halford didn't smoke and were more careful with alcohol. But in fairness, in 2012, Don had overcome stomach cancer, radiation treatments and vocal-cord surgery, and had lasting physical health limitations. Then he had to have neck and spinal surgery in early November 2019. There were some complications; Don's right arm and hand were partially paralyzed as well as overall weakness in his body. It's a wonder that he can perform at all. Few vocalists can hold up this long with this style and demand from vocals. I appreciate him for what he has left. Now, Dokken had several albums later in his career that showcased his more subtle voice. It's a shame that people aren't as familiar with those albums.

We're all born with something like a certificate (written in every line of our hand - Dire Straits). You start to play the mugs game and have issues with who you might have to take over the finish line with you. These legends somewhere might just settle for closure from the fame. Each new step and come back ain't no longer innocent baby steps, we must adult.

He’s right when he says that those guys had children and families. They got a reason to live. Now, i just have my old dog. When he will die i think i’ll be free to end my life the way i wants. Of course i will take care of my dog, until he’ll be here. On my last moments i will probably listen to Dokken’s Dream Warriors. I want to hear Don’s last screams as the las sound i hear. That will be a legendary end.
