I remember 1985 like it was yesterday. I was living in Miami and would routinely see production crews on location filming Vice. I don't recall ever seeing the cast but the film crews were always seen in the greater Miami area filming the show. That was such a great time to be alive. We were young, healthy and full of life. Those were the days and I miss'em like crazy . . .

Classic show in the begining.

He will always be Sonny Crockett. I know a lot of actors don't want to be type-cast from one role or character they have played but he can never out do Sonny Crockett. And that's not a bad thing if you ask me. He was a part of the most iconic cop show to ever be seen on television. No police show has EVER reached the level of Miami Vice since it went off the air.

But, enough time has passed between its creation and it "going out of style" in the 90's, that I can now see and appreciate the true genius behind it. The casting, the acting, the themes... It's just an incredibly cool, innovative, gripping, relatable show. The 80's were far from perfect. But, the country knew who it was...
