I wasn't sure if this was too much to post or not, but I think it shows the struggle we go through onstage sometimes when you really have to fight for it, ya know? Social media is so full of perfect, and life rarely actually is.

I understand what you mean. Even the best of us makes mistakes. It’s comforting to know that. I’m a performer and messing up has scared me to go on stage. But embracing the fact that people do mess up sometimes is fine. As long as it’s not intentional and you know you did your best.

@@wima234 Everyone gets nerves before getting on stage, even the professionals! You are SO not alone, I promise and everyone messes up at some point. It's how you recover from it that matters. Ok - but world class opera singers are in the same goddess-level status as world class ballet dancers ... If you knew all the muscles of world class singers while also memorizing 50 arias in half a dozen languages * since high caliber opera singers are a tiny few while world class ballerinas are a couple dozen - worldwide - I have to go with world class operatic sopranos. I've been a professional dancer and a professional singer - I sing in ten languages and have performed from across 7,000 miles on this Earth - I have to go with opera singing - but thank you for your comment - I appreciate it.

There's standing room, which is EXCEPTIONALLY CHEAP, like 10 dollars. Yes, you have to stand. But, often, you end up getting a seat by the second act, ir even right away.
@daisychain5087
@daisychain5087 10 ай бұрын
Some amazing theaters also offer same-day tickets at around the $40 dollar mark, for any seat that is left. The deal is, there would be a set time the box office opens (usually it's something like noon), and you need to get there then, IN PERSON, to stand in line as it's first come first serve, and once they've run out that's it. BUT, I'm talking they let ALL the seats that haven't been sold go, including the best seats in the house, barring the boxes. But IMO, dress circle is FAR BETTER than the boxes for opera at least. I'm not positive the same is true for ballet. But, I know that both dress circle and orchestra seats would be MARVELOUS, a PURE DREAM for ballet nonetheless, at $400. SO, at $40 and a little waiting in line, you've absolutely won the lottery!!! ;)❤

Ever since i was a kid I've admired ballet with my whole heart. I'm an artist i feel at a different level for ballet. Every single time i look at her dance i have so much envy and my god isn't it beautiful?. I was born in india so unfortunately could never learn how to do ballet. But you're amazing hun keep going❤
