I sat down with 2x league MVP and now 2023 NBA Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic, to ask him about what it feels like being an NBA champion, his relationship with his teammates and Coach Michael Malone, and, what's next for him after defeating the Miami Heat in Game 5 to win the 2023 NBA Finals.

@@Abulkhirat9 Yes, his oldest brother is one of the exceptions. Sometimes Vojvodinians are under influence of other parts of Serbia where people are told through the media, literature, and school institutions that they are threatened by the western part of the world and that they should have a warlike and conquering spirit towards the surrounding countries. In 2019, he had a problem with the law, because he was suspected of strangling and pushing a woman in an apartment. She called for help by using a computer to send a message, and the person she contacted called the authorities. Strahinja was charged with second-degree assault and eventually pleaded guilty to two counts and received a deferred sentence, meaning he will not face any punishment as long as he follows the rules of unsupervised probation.

Most players understandably so would relish their success of their first time being a champion and recognized as the best basketball player in the world. Then you might see them slack off a bit once they reach this dream/goal. But i think for jokic the chip is just a process and he has bigger goals beyond just more chips. The fact that he just wants to play basketball and still get better to me shows that he is going to continue to play at a high level and consistently contend for chips. Like he said the journey is the motivation instead of the result.

Malika, keep up the great job, your one of the few that come across genuine, you seem to care about the game and players, never change, as an audience and fans, we love the game, it’s awesome, but so many reporters make it other stuff and try and tear the game down, it’s for all our enjoyment, it’s what brings us together, don’t be bigger then the game, much respect.

He proved the fools in media wrong is 1 thing and after he won his face looked like he won a pickup game. Damn that was so badass. Hopefully this is a start of nuggets dynasty of winning multiple championships. This man is a beast. His attitude is unique not like the other divas in nba right now

Such a wholesome guy! This “I don’t know where the trophy is” reminds me of his post-game microphone incident. “I didn’t break it”

@@dotenks well Perkins is the one encouraged them to write them. After his jokic rant about why he shouldn’t win his 3rd straight mvp jokic went from top in the ladder boards to 3rd in matter of a week after Perkins rant.

How awesome is it to see the best player in the world not feel the need to refer to himself as "King", and make it all about his teammates, rather than himself? So refreshing.

Basketball is what he's good at, horses is what he loves. If in the future there will be a sport that combines these two together, he'll definitely become a monster on that sport.

I feel like he's more relieved to have the win , than excited. Bc its so much work leading up to that point. I think it's one or the other. You feel relieved or excited ❤️ or maybe it bounces between the two.

He didn’t win MVPs and get this good until he got in shape. He isn’t cut, but he isn’t fat. His cardio is really strong getting up and down the court.
