"I do buy not myself $100 jeans, but I buy the dolls $100 jeans": RELATABLE 🤣 SD clothes are definitely investment pieces, but for dolls that are so beautiful and high quality, they gotta have the same standard of outfits to match! Honestly, thank goodness for my dolly friends alerting me to doll drops; I'm a terrible stalker. Great video, Tammy!

I agree. I love my Chitose Multiverse, at the time Haruka was "backordered" so I bought me my Kiku instead, she was my second on the list Mirai being third. Now if I would want to buy one I am torn between Limitless and a Pear girl. But it would be quite a while. Another thing people need to remember is SmartDoll is a made in Japan doll, not a single part even material used is sourced outside of Japan, hence the price Danny designs everything from 3D mockups to the molds himself with his in-house team of 17. My son holds Danny's business model in very high esteem.

Hi, i was lucky enough to get my first girl 7 years ago in Japan, where they had a facility then where you could put your girl together in store, we also got to meet Danny too, i now have 6 in total. I havent had one for sometime though but as you say i need to save up first. I am really waiting for the Boy one but i am tempted for a Pear girl especially with the price at the moment because Yen to Pound is good too, but you also have to think about customs fees and postage too. thankyou for sharing 🥰🥰

I totally agree. I was going to buy one Smart Doll and travel with her… then she needed a sister and of course I had to have a pear… and you know I love coffee. SMH SHAME ON YOU DANNY CHOO! lol Also, all of my girls were more $$$ than they are now… with the acceptation of Ms. Pear. I’m glad that todays prices enable more collectors to purchase them. I love them all and they are just amazing dolls! Great video! ✨💜✨💜✨👏🏽

I would love a smart doll. Unfortunately i can't afford them yet. I was looking for a curvy girl but at 400$ i couldn't 😢 but I'll keep this in mind when i can find room in my budget ❤ i love your red head!!

I have the Transcendence Tea and the Transcendence Cinnamon Pear. I wanted a pear version for sewing. And yes I agree that they are big dolls. I have an Iplehouse Eid and the pear version can fit her clothes.

I waited years before I bought my first, and I think it's helpful to really think over such a big purchase. I wish we could see these types of dolls in person more easily before buying.

These are really nice high quality dolls 👍 When I found out a few years ago how expensive they were I knew I'm probably never going to get 1 😔 But if I ever did get 1 I would have to stop at 1 because of their price 👎 I think I could stop at 1 because I only have 1 Pulip doll & it's the Wonder Woman version 😍 I will definitely stick to more pocket friendly dolls for now 😂

They are lovely dolls, but their size and price prevent me from ever buying one for my collection. I always wanted to someday get a BJD for my collection but a much lower priced one. I love dressing and styling my dolls and without a wardrobe I wouldn't enjoy the doll very much. I just can't see ever paying that much for a doll even though I would love to have one, it won't happen. Thanks for all the information about them and it's fun to see those dolls that other collectors have in their collections. Take care.🙂

I said I was not going buy any Smart Dolls...6 dolls later, I am waiting on one to come tomorrow...I also am interested in Trouble and I would like a Coffee one too😂😂😂. I will not get a Pear because I don't want to have to buy separate clothes for her. I already have a small fortune invested in the Classic and they can share clothing 😊. Thanks for the comment. And, yes, those are my thoughts on the pair dolls. Not for me and not ready to buy a bunch of different clothes considering the $$ I've sunk into the class dolls.

Thank you for the informative video. I do like larger fashion dolls but, for now I am content with the 60cm dolls from AliExpress. I hope Danny never creates a completely realistic Smart Doll face because then I will be down the Smart Doll rabbit hole also.

I literally just bought my 5th Smart Doll! You weren’t joking. They’re very addicting. And I couldn’t resist getting a Pear Girl. I can’t wait to knit something for her! 💕 By the way, are those IKEA shelves in your background? I’m in need of new shelves now that I finally have space for a doll room!

I collect 1/6 scale. So I bought a smart doll head on ebay & paired it w/a 1/6 bjd body from aliexpress & made my own. Was a little tricky cuz the head hole was quite a bit smaller than the typical bjd. But it actually came out pretty darn good & she is not out of sync w/the rest of the dolls.

@@TammyPowley Yeah, it was an adventure cuz I contacted Danny Choo about how I could buy just a head & he suggested ebay. Found the exact head I wanted. I was so pleased w/the result that I even sent him pics of how it turned out. He seemed to approve. & now that I heard his version of the ‘pocket doll’-if he ever gets around to making it; is gonna be 16” (way bigger than my dolls), I’m REALLY glad I made my own! 😬

Perfectly said. I did not realize that the yen was down again - I will be taking advantage of that, for sure. I want the coco chi (cheese) and semi-real courage. I prefer the anime dolls, but I have a few semi real girls, as well.

It's really nice to have this price break right now for collectors in the US, and I guess I've heard the British pounds is also pretty strong compared to the yen too.

Yeah I've noticed, I just would feel guilty if someone spent that much on me, even indirectly. So for now I'll just have to admire these beauties from a far 😺
