Sandwich bread
INGREDIENTS USED:
Dry ingredients
8 cups of bread flour
4 tbs sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp grated nutmeg
4 tbs butter
2 tbs shortening (I used the butter flavored)
LIQUID INGREDIENTS:
1 cup warm water (115 degrees Fahrenheit)
1 cup warm milk (1 tbs sugar to help the yeast)
2 packet active dry yeast (1 packet equivalent to 2 1/4 tsp)
( I used 4 extra tbs of butter when kneading the dough)
Preheat oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit
Brush on butter or milk before baking.
