Hi Danni! I was at my Salvation Army today and I found a beautiful Belleek good sized vase and it only cost me $2.99, for a Belleek, so I definitely grabbed it, plus a few pieces of jewelry

Goodness what a haul!! Love the metal wreath, the pic of black eyed susans and the horses! Be still my heart. Your other purchases were awesome-- you have such a good eye for things. The nativity is beautiful! Maybe we'll see the clothes later. BTW Emile cookware is super!! Odd you'd pick up that red amaryllis-- I have 2 fake ones. People think they're real but you were right to pass on that one! You got some great finds!!!❤

It’s interesting how different some dealers customers are. I watch a few other good sellers like you Dani, and they say Christmas sells all year around. My aunt was an avid Christmas shopper, and the internet would have thrilled her.

I was happy to see the Tony Orlando photo because just the other day I reminded myself of his song Tie a Yellow Ribbon. I thought of that song because the yellow ribbon is being used as a symbol of waiting for the return of our hostages from Gaza.

Another fun video getting shop done! I cannot believe the prices at this Good Will. OMG But you did well and made use of the Senior discount. And that Emile Henri is worth a small fortune. I have the salt "pig" and hoo boy, it cost me a pretty penny at a kitchen retailer. See you at your next thrift-ing excursion!

Ouch - always buy Bordallo PINHEIRO pottery, especially anything with rabbits in the design. I’ve found and sold a number of pieces for a very good profit…

You have to buy it’s low enough for the price to make sure that you can make a profit off of it and that includes shopping for it marketing it wrapping shipping so yes, it has to be significant. I thought it was too.

I have made cute little kitchen curtains from vintage aprons found at the thrift store. And pillow covers/cushion covers from thrift store curtains or table cloths. Do you have salvation army thrift stores out there? I have never seen anyone go there in your area. I love your finds tonight, thanks for sharing.

Hi Dani, 99cent only stores are closing, Greenbriar is from the Dollar Tree which is not closing. I'm guessing all of those candle holders were probably bought for a project that was never worked on & ended up at GW.

Your absolutely correct. Goodwill And Salvation Army are high prices!!!! I'm in Laughlin, need to go to Bullhead, so very limited😢 Don't drive freeways so don't go to Henderson or Vegas.

There are two Goodwills and a Savers where I live, and none of them have a dressing room anymore. When the pandemic hit, they temporarily closed them, but they never reopened them again. In fact, they all took them out completely and now have more space for merchandise. I was shopping in one of the Goodwills one day and a shopper was complaining to the manager about no changing rooms as she was from out of town and that it would not be easy for her to return to exchange a clothing item she had if it didn't fit. The Manager apologized and said it was a corporate decision and they couldn't do anything about it. I can see where that would be frustrating for customers. I guess there had been too much theft, too. 😠 Happy shopping! 😊

Our Senior Days at GW only give a 20% discount. I bought a nice Ashworth polo shirt [new, about $50] for hubby, but many other prices were are silly high and 20% is just not enough to tempt me. Pricing has been going a bit crazy on many items. It's as though GW is following the inflation trend, yet, with all their goods donated, it doesn't seem right to raise prices. I have some Portuguese Bordallo greenware items.. a gorgeous leaf pitcher, some bowls... they were reasonably priced when I bought them at GW a few years ago. They are very popular in Florida.

Suggestion...carry a small magnifying glass in your purse or pocket. It will save you time and that way you might not leave a treasure behind.

Yes, some folks that shop are so rude - that person running into your cart. I was able to get to my small GoodWill today, and there were two women, each w/ a cart, blocking an isle and just jabbering on about how cute this is and this is what I'll do with that. Just turned around and went to a different aisle.

They are getting way too pricey. I go on senior day . Plus use my coupon for something I want . I stopped reselling. Will be closing my booth at end of year. Senior day in Az is only20%.
