I’ve been freeing my life this week, cleaned out 2 sheds now on to the garage!

My kids(8 of them) used to have "bed sales"....think yard sale in each bedroom...where they would barter and sell their stuff to each other. 😂 It was so fun...and they came up with the idea, soooo. We just monitored to make sure no one was getting taken advantage of. 😅

I love watching thrifting videos. I like to see all the different things. Loved the coffee cup. The chicken towel hangs around your neck, so you have towels at each end while you're in the kitchen. My friend gave me one. I'd never seen one before that.

I think the chicken towel thing is something you put around the back of your neck and then the towel part hangs down your front. You can use it like pot holders to grab things from the oven. Or like towels to wipe your hands on. My grandmother had something similar (not chicken print though!)

You have come so far, I'm sure things are far from perfect or easy most days but we are all so proud of you. God is planting seeds for the flowers that will bloom later for you.

I love thrifting! I work for hallmark and our first batch of ornaments are for sale July 13th! Each store is supposed to pick a theme around one of the new ornaments decorate their store and Dress up! My manager chose Little Mermaid since it’s the 35th anniversary ornament this year! I was trying to decide which character I should be when I went to Salvation Army yesterday I found a Ursula shirt my size for $3.99 so I’m going to be Ursula! I’m going to Goodwill now to see if I can find some fun purple pants to go with the shirt!

I purchased a used bread machine, and it is so handy for mixing and proofing the dough. I normally bake my bread in the oven, but the machine gets used at least once a week as I bake all our bread now, buns included.

Time for bed was my favorite kids books. My oldest got a copy from the hospital. It was our night time book. It became the bedtime book for ever. I now give it to every new momma. It is a precious book.

I like how you always find such fantastic things at the thrift shops .. in my area they are not quite as good as the ones you get to shop but I have a few good items that were a good buy . I enjoy getting a deal and that’s why I like to go to thrift shops and let’s face it you save money . I always wash any clothes I purchase before we wear them and any other items like kitchen items toys and such get sanitized with soapy water with bleach added to it .. any books I get I use sanitize spray I hold it away and put the spray on a fine mist and mist the book in the fine mist in the air but I don’t get it wet and I use my washcloth from my soapy bleach water and gently wipe the book cover off and along the edges of the pages . Please don’t get offended at the level I sanitize the items I purchase because I do items in my home the same way . My dishwater always has bleach in it and I mop with soapy bleach water . I just like to know that I’m doing a thorough cleaning when I clean! Thanks for sharing your coping tips because I don’t think anyone hasn’t had a time where they have been hurt and felt emotionally upset. I know I’ve had quite a bit of experience about that and Thank you for standing up and sharing with us about it because emotional pain needs to be healed . I appreciate that you shared yours with us because we all have been through some things . Don’t forget that children also need emotional help especially if any family trauma has happened because it doesn’t just affect us they feel the stress and emotional pain going on in the home too. I know that from experience I’ll be totally honest if I hadn’t had God in my life during my childhood I probably wouldn’t be alive today but as I read the Bible and prayed and received God’s love that comforted me during that time I don’t how I would have gotten through . I continue to daily pray and allow spiritual help to guide me because we will have hurts in life to the day we pass away so just know God’s on our side but we have to reach out to Him for He is always there for us.I hope that helps someone today that feels all alone in their pain that they have someone that’s there seeing them and their pain and that can help them too .
