The thing is. If you actually calm your self down and not think pushing is some race to the finish line. You can allow your vagina muscles to actually squeeze baby out with little to no pushing. Small tiny pushes while your contractions happen. Burning or stinging means baby is coming so don't push take a breather and breath deeply then small push. Allow it to stretch and don't be afraid to even put your hand down and have a feel what's happening or to even massage the opening a little. This is easier in water than a birth table. Or on all fours.

This is exactly how my babies came through. I try to tell mamas that you don’t have to push at all because your body does the work… not many have this experience because they are forced to push on their back. I deliver on all fours. Maybe the next baby I’ll have a feel with my hand and catch myself! 🥰

Never let a nurse or doctor tell you how to push. Ignore them. I always do what I feel is right. They will tell you not to push yet, but I will always slightly push in contractions, the pressure eases pain. Even if they demand I push HARD, I will nudgingly push and stop if I feel pain or soreness. My babies only take 1-2 pushes, and I’ve never torn. Listen to your body, not a stranger with a sense of superiority. Nature can’t be determined by schedules and threats. Even my “late babies” came before any doctor could induce. Even if a baby is late or early, they aren’t, it’s more likely that a doctor messed up their educated guess of gestational age. Every race has different size variations at any age, and there is truly no way to KNOW anything. Some baby’s are big, others small. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong. Also, GO NATURAL! It’s less pain in the long run. Medicine will numb you, and you will not feel how you are hurting yourself. So many reasons to go natural. Those interventions can cause life long back pain, and distress your baby in the womb, only causing further complications. Finally, RELAX!!! Trust in Mother Nature. Millions of women before you have given birth successfully on cave floors, why are you special??? This is what a woman’s body is designed to do! I fully believe that fear mongering is the reason women scream bloody mother. When woman are screaming, it’s out of psychological fear from all the horror stories they are told. Tensing up in fear won’t help delivery. Trust the process, go with the flow.

Pushing like that when you have a bowl movement it is also not indicated, as it can lead to hemoroids or worsening of them , especially during pregnancy. Learn it the hard way 😊 so you also push through breathing out during a bowl movement.

I’m having my third in a few days and I’ve learned to ignore doctors and listen to my body. With my first I took epidural I pushed how they wanted me to and had tears and hemorrhoids. My second because it was unexpected I did absolutely nothing. No one in my ear telling me to push, no epidural, no hospital bed (toilet thought I had to use the bathroom). My baby 100% guided me and my body did what it was created to do. No tears no hemorrhoids nothing! and fast recovery. I know it can be different for every pregnancy, not sure how the one I’m in now will turn out but now I know what I want and don’t. OBGYn are surgeons they come in and then they go to the next. Eliminate the noise and let your voice speak up! Or tell your partner to speak for you when you are lost in the moment.

@sheriA7082 6 ай бұрын
@@madhatter239 I worked with a pelvic floor therapist through out my pregnancy focusing on lengthening (relaxing) my PF. I did internal (not recommended by conventional medicine) and perineal massages at 36 weeks (mostly daily but at most every other day) . And finally learned my anatomy and became really familiar with my body so that I could figure out the best positions to make the most room for baby. I did the birthing better course, it has a lot of great information but could be overwhelming. I've torn with 2/4 of my kids and didn't tear with my first because I had an emergency c section.

@@megamarleyg3335 I posted it above...but focused on relaxing my pelvic floor through diaphragmatic breathing, internal and perennial massages (to release muscle tension), working with a pelvic floor therapist ( I had a lot of anatomical problems during my pregnancy, so my focus was working on those problems which could cause a delayed labor) and knowing my pelvic map so I could know which positions made the most room for baby to descend according to my anatomy. You can look into the birthing better course. They had a lot of great information but I will warn you that it was a bit overwhelming.
