You’re not allowed to open drink lids like that. Bad advice can get you removed off the platform. Just tape it down.

I like the saran wrap idea but I wrap the cup without taking the lid off. Just wrap top to bottom direction and then turn 90° and wrap top to bottom direction again for extra protection. Taking lid off I don't customer would appreciate that.

I made the mistake of taking an order that took me into a very windy back road that had a shit ton of trees on my first night, 9:45 and I was still on the back roads, my car charger not working for my phone, and no signal for at least 4 miles. it was amazing though, the views of the night sky in eastern tennessee are amazing

Check the specifications for the device you want to mount on your handlebars. If it uses OIS (optical image stabilization), it may be subject to damage from vibrations. This is physical means of doing image stabilization. If it uses EIS (electronic image stabilization), then the vibes shouldn't be a problem as there is no actual mechanism - this uses software processing to account for vibrations.

I am currently using the quad lock I’ve had no issues with it other than it’s a pain to put on and take off in a hurry and it’s one of the more Expensive rigs on the market. Good luck!

Great information. I'm going to add something don't deliver on crosser. I have cmx1100 dct and Is killing my butt and my back after 5 hours. Try some ADV or something with long shocks travel.

I want to do food delivery on motorcycle in Toronto but the insurance companies don't allow to cover despite the delivery companies allow while being online for deliveries specifically. Which company are you with if you are in Ontario.

good video mate, im considering doing a few runs on the weekend for extra cash, quick question, are you able to select and see what orders you choose? take for example i only want to do 4-5 deliveries on a saturday can i view them and ditch the ones that are too large/ or has lots of drinks/ice cream? cheers in advance

How long have you been doing Doordash for on your bike? I'm interested in joining Doordash and doing deliveries on my Vstar 650. I have two saddlebags which make it better but would also get something like you have. Does the saran wrap drink thing work? Are customers not weirded out by having it there? I would hope they put two and two together and know that you are on a motorcycle

I’ve been doing DD on the bike for a few months now. It’s a whole lot of fun! The saddle bags will be a game changer but make sure you get a food bag of some sort because some restaurants won’t even let you leave with the food unless you have one. Most of them have been pizza places so make sure it’s large enough to fit a pizza as well. The bag I have is linked in the description! The Saran wrap deal is hit or miss..it really doesn’t work well with coffee but it gets hot drink from A-B with very minimal spillage and I’ve never had a complaint about it! I hope that helps. Drink spilling is my biggest problam....I will try tour method man sounds good, suran wrap that crap and then put the lid on. In colorado it's not required to wear helmet, I do that and leathers

Heck yea man give it a shot. It’s not full proof but it promotes very little leakage if you do it right. I’m from Colorado as well I just moved to Austin in November!

@@goodloffg no! I realized I was blipping on down shifts, pull the clutch do back break predominantly and front break 20% slow driving etc. Problem solved. Was driving like I stole it, I shit you not had 5 drinks on my bike (who the fuck guys 5 drinks from taco bell!?!?!?!!?) Did not spill. One!!!! Super slow to get to speed and super slow corners. Your all good!!! It took me getting a soda from a fast food place and testing my set up to get right. If you have drinks drive like your kid is on the back you will be fine....feel like I should make a video about it...

@@goodloffg I never touch anything bare handed so I’ll always grab napkins or something if I go for the lid. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can be selective with the orders with no penalty. So if the order doesn’t suit you don’t hesitate to cancel it. They will just give it to another driver. Hope that helps

I’ve never had any complaints. Obviously try as hard as you can to be clean about it…don’t be dipping your dirty hands in peoples drinks and stay away from the rims etc.

got the exact same bag. the expanding part comes in clutch alot of times lol. Just the quality isn't good alot of part start falling or ripping after a few use

Yea, it’s got a slot that extends and I can fit two pizzas in it. Then tons of room on top if they ordered wings, breadsticks, soda or any extras!

It’s not ok to open drinks just so you don’t have to clean your bag occasionally. Definitely not cool. Good video otherwise. Glad you don’t deliver my food though!! I should add that I’m a licensed food safety expert. I’m not just blowin fog.
