I found Elevation Church sermons on a pod cast app while I was in county jail. I struggle with addiction. I came to Christ just a few years ago. I was clean for 2½ years and relapsed. Went to jail. I used and prayed for God to help me not go back down the same path. He answered with a jail sentence. I was able to use that time to get some clean time and study and read the Bible. The way pastor Furtick gives these messages was a new experience for me. He speaks real and from the heart guided by the holy spirit. Thank you. Thank you Jesus!

I’m a recovering addict myself and have almost 3 years clean. God along with my will power helped me overcome but God definitely put Elevation Church in my life and it’s been the encouragement I’ve needed in my life. God bless you man. It’s not easy but like Pastor said “What’s in you is greater than what’s on you.”

I just sent this to my 24 yr old son who struggles with depression, anxiety, addiction, abandonment issues, fear, and anger. His dad and I traumatized him with DV that went on in our home for many years. After the DV, then came our full-blown addictions. We're no longer together, but I know his actions today are still plaguing my son. Please pray with me that my son will listen to this and that he will receive the message that God has for him. I believe that my son Gabriel will be the chain breaker that God has called him to be. I trust that he will be sharing his testimony one day about his "but God" miracle! In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. 🙏 ❤

I am going through a divorce because I have proven to be untrustworthy! I’m miserable because I don’t want a divorce but I know it’s largely because of bad choices I’ve made over time. My wife says she still loves me and forgives me but can’t be with me anymore. This sermon was really good for me because I sometimes want to just give up but I know God can still use me. If someone reads this and lifts up a prayer for me and my wife I appreciate it!

Just ignore all the dramas that is going on in your marriage right now, but rather concentrate in imagining your wife loving you more than ever and both you growing in love till death. I wish Steven would read this, you are changing my life and every Morning on my run with my dog I listen to your messages and I cry because you are speaking directly to me. I struggle with anxiety and I have messed up my life and destroyed relationships and I am trying to stop that destruction and without it your message every morning I would fail so thank you! I wish I could come and meet you in person and thank you face to face for changing my world! I’m still a mess but I’m getting there. God is not done with me!!

Literally in tears watching this. I've been unemployed for 11 months now, lost my car, having chronic health issues, and my relationship is a mess. I've never felt so hopeless and scared for my future. It seems so paralyzed! I need hope God still cares about me.

Thanks for always a awesome message from the Lord and I also listen to Elevation Worship music. I have been in recovery for over 5 years. I knew God had a plan for me but I wasn't sure what, As I continued to pray he has opened so many doors and now am able to go into Jails and help Vulnerable Women and Hope to give them Hope. Oh Pastor Steven, you get it! You really get the struggle of the human experience of being ‘pinned down’ but wanting to ‘stand up’. This is the kind of preaching that will actually help people to trust God, their power within & give the hope and strength to recognize & grow. I am going through this too. I was being stalked and micro-managed and no one helped me even when I asked for it. So I felt like I had no choice but to leave, but I keep beating myself up about it because I didn’t have a backup plan. My anxiety has been through the roof these last few weeks, but I am staying hopeful and praying for a miracle. I hope you’ve seen your breakthrough. In Jesus name. I’m rooting for you. I left a very toxic job after 7 years in Regional Manager Role, I was harassed after I reported physical abuse from Director of Operations who I was dating, he was in NJ office I worked out of DE office. He cheated on me with woman in the NJ office and I called him out, he ended up hitting me repeatedly one night after work friends party. A PFA was needed and one night he came into DE office which led to another employee who was there reporting she was scared. The company was forced to terminate him, he allowed everyone to believe I was the reason he was terminated. For the last year they made it their goal to make my job so hard I’d quit or loose my mind and get fired. The loss of both my grandparents, my son leaving my home with my granddaughter, loss of my relationship, suddenly grieving my dad I refused loosing suddenly to cancer 6 years ago, and almost dying myself, I could not keep going. I met with owner and came to mutual agreement to resign. Today I received official approval for my business approval “Miles Ahead Cleaning LLC” we only see now, we are in the middle, God is miles ahead with the completed best version of us, who he made us to be! We clean with purpose, we see the outcome before we start, the best version! We know the plans we have and they are good! God knows the plans he has for us, he is not through, He is miles ahead and all things work together for the good, there is a job, the job you want is being worked out, trust God and depend on the Lord to heal your heart!

I've struggled with addiction from alcohol for over 20 years, but finally overcame and God has never forsaken me. I got saved February 25th 2003, lives for him for a season then went back to what always brought me down. So sick of the cycle want this to last and let people see Christ thru me and not be depressed anymore. So excited for the future God has in store for me. The Holy Spirit is all I need😁

Times when your praying through the weather, construction, or a maneuver. And let's not fall short on praying for the Shippers and Receivers most of all all those 4wheelers driving.

I woke up in the middle of the night in worry because of a sin that I keep falling into. Felt ashamed and cast away. This is the hope I needed. God is the Hope that I needed and He is not Through with me yet. :)

Hey, Tyler. I’m happy for you and that you found the lord🙏🏻✝️. I also lost my dad at a young age. He passed away when I was 15. My dad died in prison. He was sent to prison when I was 7. He got locked up for murder. While in prison he got sick and died in there. I feel your pain. It was hard for me when I was younger. I’m here for you friend if you need anything.

I needed this today. This morning has been such a struggle, and I've been "stuck" in my feelings. My husband is currently in the VA hospital with heart failure and I've been taking on all the responsibilities at home and with our child. Your word this morning has encouraged me to "stand up" and not to fight the future.

I understand how scared you must feel. A few years ago my husband was discharged from the military for unexplained seizures, he almost cracked his skull open falling down entire staircases and he almost had a heart attack on several occasions due to the intensity of his seizures. The top neurologist at Balboa naval medical center was perplexed he had never seen a case like my husbands. Well I prayed and cried and struggled and prayed some more, and I’m happy to report that after a long difficult journey my husband is completely healed and seizure free standing here 5 years later. God healed my husband and he’s going to heal your husband too, I claim it in the name of Jesus! Lord please be with Nikki and put your hand on her heart and her husbands heart Lord please heal Nikkis husband and make his heart stronger than before and let it be for your glory in Jesus name amen 🙏🏼

Wow!!! What a word! Connecting from Nairobi, Kenya🌍. The devil knows my weakness but he also knows who lives in me. When I call the name of Jesus Christ, he runs in fear. I thank God for my struggles, because it is through my weaknesses that I am drawn to his grace and mercy. This gives me hope. If my life was perfect and clean, I would have pride not to seek Him in truth and spirit. Also, that grey denim is so tuff Pastor!🔥🔥
