It do be like that sometimes. I like to think of myself as decently handy but every now and then you just get a day where you're constantly bumping into things and knocking things over and keep injuring yourself. There's nothing else to do other than trying to stay positive lol.

So I spend the whole day bumping into stuff, dropping items and even missing/knocking over stuff I try to pick up. Generally I'm not that clumsy but on some days, on some days I am the clumsiest a human can be.

It should be "dealive". "Un" prefix is about a passive status. Elijah cannot passively try to "insert k word" himself, or at least that isn't what it usually means. "De" implies an action e.g. taking something away. So to "dealive" means to take away "alive"-ness which matches the action of the "k word" more accurately. PS: whoever started the word "unalive" could do with a crash course in linguistics.

Elijah seems like a complete disaster area. Cut himself, fell down the stairs, touched mains voltage cables (that yes, admittedly should have been covered) and drilled the holes in the wrong place. Even more hilarious is the fact it was clearly made as a churn out and make cash, cuz what the hell is that power supply and switch design. Even 30$ sign boards have a proper closed PSU and a remote control. Also that entire thing cannot be over 200$ to make so 1000$? Scammed hard, but expected with that category of people

funny you reply when you did. I just learned yesterday that Roku has a free 24/7 Red Green channel. Which is now going to be my go-to for when nothing good is on TV. Didn't realize that show went on for 15 seasons. I wonder what LTT could use for lodge's motto (like possum lodge's 'man's prayer' of "i'm a man. But i can change. if i have to. I guess"). For real though. I built a Shopify store for one, with a custom interface that let's you choose the fonts/colours/words, etc. It's not a volume business, but considering all they're doing is sending the design off to China to have them make + dropship it, the margins are pretty good. I've honestly considered doing something similar as a side hustle, but I'm far too busy w/ clients to do anything for myself :/

@@Neo6364 The power supply itself is fine, screw terminal models like that are pretty common if you're looking for a fixed voltage supply for something DIY or custom. The thing that they never include and should be required to include is some kind of non-conductive housing. They have 3D printers, making a clam shell that bolts together and covers the exposed terminals wouldn't be terribly difficult.

Linus did I think say 'thanks meanwell' so if it is genuine meanwell (ie a highly highly highly reputable psu manufacturer in industrial and B2B world - ie make psus other companies put into their products). The issue here is that when you buy a chassis style psu like this it is OEM 'like' you are 100% expected to be putting it into an enclosure fixed and properly covered. These sorts of chassis frame psus are designed to be put inside a product not just left externally hooked up. Also, bunnies have a penchant for 'spicy hay' and are actually hardly little buggers (I haven't let mine roam in an area with cabling, but lots of house rabbit owners will attest to how they never seem to get hurt with the spicy hay - not saying you shouldn't go out of your way to keep them safe from such hazard, because you still should). Basically, the product is OK, but not in the way it's being used (ie not what the manufacturer intended). My main thing is more to check its genuine meanwell as that would be a bigger risk (meanwell love to put solastic over everything - which is good - so that can be one way to tell, plus named brand caps and components)

For the exposed AC just cover the terminals with hot glue. It's a perfect insolator, covers every corner and comes off as one piece afterwards.

That light mural company is genuinely comitting public endangerment from what we've seen so far. Would not put their products in the same room with animals that are known for chewing cables :/ That noctua crimp connector is a godsend. So useful for stuff like replacing fans with propriatery connectors, rpi fans etc. And with greenhouses you want controlled stable airflow, not chaotic one, hence the weatherstripping. You basically want to move around the humidity, without venting it trough every crevace. Otherwise you'd have mold problems. The fans from noctua will barely move the air around anyway, but they will spread the humidity through the closet.

Everybody is so hyped up about the sign, but it's really not that big a deal. Those power supplies are pretty normal, though they should include plastic clamshell housings to cover the terminals after assembly, but that's on the side of the actual PSU manufacturer who expects you to put it in your own housing anyway. I'm sure if the LMG team wanted they could 3D print a bolt together plastic cover for the exposed terminals. That wouldn't solve the problem of animals chewing on cables, but you could make that same concern about literally any electronic device that plugs into a wall outlet, so it's not exactly fair criticism either, they need those wall mount cable covers.

I majored in management and minored in HR. It was a lot of ethics, math (accounting, finance, statistics, econ), law (so many law classes), and operations classes. Basically just learning every way to avoid getting sued and if you do get sued, how to limit your company's liability while also making your company look more ethical than it really is while maximizing profits by knowing laws and regulations (but mostly loopholes). @@a88pockets

In the cabinet, you want airflow to prevent rot en fungi to grow, but you don’t want air to flow in/out the cabinet. Only internal airflow. Also you want the airflow to internally equalise temperature and humidity. Nice plants btw!
