Hello again, Ms Moon, Now you understand why it's mission impossible (for me) to learn (as an example) Chinese; One word could mean different things, depending of the pronunciation, and then I haven't even mentioned to learn the writing/reading the different characters. To now how to read an ordinary newspaper, one needs to learn a few thousand characters, mindbobbling😖. I'm very impressed with the Chinese/ Japanese who are able to comprehend such a complicated and difficult language as your (s). However, I know there is westerners who speaks, write and read chinese fluently, as an example there is a swedish guy who works as an journalist and are residing in TW, who speaks and read/write chinese fluently. Very impressive, if you ask me.
