We legit did this too and it was the worst experience. The waves were wild and I was so hype when we got to Busan that I almost kissed the ground when we got off the boat 😂

Here is a tip Wear earbuds only on one of the ears. It worked for me all the time

I was on a similar boat from Hong Kong to Macau, but it is standard for me to get some motion sick new so I didn’t really question it.

I wonder if taking the motion sickness pill before you hit the latter 2 hours would help. Like letting it start before it gets so bad? Not sure if it would work but maybe it would!

The type of ship that you took (a trimaran) is a lot more likely to be affected by the movement of the sea. See what it's like on large monohull - I am sure it will be much better:)

I think having meds a day before the trip would have helped you. Whenever I am going on trips I place myself on pseudoephedrine loratadine pills for a week and some betahistine for a week too. This helps my dizziness. It clears up the ears for balance and the medswork wonders 🎉🎉🎉

You can only survive seasickness on a massive steady boat, or take a smaller boat with a wide open sea view. A mid sized boat seems to be the cause of nausea. Big rolling movements 😫

Ooh, try going to Sabtang island to Basco island in Batanes, Philippines. It wasn't a big boat and the waves were big. The tour guides were ready with barf bags for the tourists. 😂

To try to soothe seasickness, lie down and shut your eyes or look at land. It's because your eyes and ears can't make up their mind about movement.

i took this route before but it was a night trip and with the slow ferry and I slept through it. so didn't feel anything 😊
