@@ocean77359no need to be mean. But there may be a point there, I know it is just a show, Robert being an accidental pregnancy and forcing Marie and Frank to marry and settle down had an affect. I guess in real life that can have an affect - the resentment they had towards him, even though it is not his fault, for the lives they could of had. They never bothered to give him a proper first birthday or left him in a gas station. Frank having to take jobs he did not want to that he mentioned in the ping pong episode. Marie being smart with piano, learning languages or doing Ali’s homework and having to give it all up to look after him. Again I know it is a sow but this does happen in real life and I do feel for kids like Robert who are a reminder of what could have been.

@@karamjitdedyal752 It is a good sitcom because it is realistic even if it is exagerated. You don't have to lay down to the trolls who came here to tell people it is a tv show! You love it because it is good entertainment, don't appologize! They are unhappy because they see people loving a show and still talking about it what is long gone from the air, they can't stand it, they are like Marie.

Marie doesn’t get it that if she wants Robert to desperately get married and have children, he’s not going to have that if he’s still living at their house. He can’t raise a family while living with them. In order for him to have all that, he has to move out and have his own place. But Marie only cares about herself and uses her manipulation to get what she wants. She already got him and Amy married, living with them near the finale. If she thinks that they are going to stick around when they have kids, she better up her game.

Actually, she did. There was an episode where she was actually favoring Robert over Raymond when really she was manipulating them into having kids right away. When they made it clear they’ll have kids when they’re ready she threatened to kick them out.

@@12Blueace this is precisely my point. I remembered this episode, which is why I made my point exactly. She made them stay at her house so that she could control their lives and push them into having children. N when they said they want to have children when they’re ready, she didn’t have any use for them anymore and try to kick them out. N I remember that episode ending with Robert and Amy having fake sex just to please Marie, which I thought was sick. If anybody ever has a grandmother or mom like Marie, God help you.

@joeypleasants4014 there was different. In full house they didn't had an overbearing mother/mother-in-law who will try to control their lives in every way possible. N nobody forced anybody to have babies if they weren’t ready. Full house is the family people should to be like, everybody loves Raymond is the family people are like.

I once had a 2 year period of living with my parents until I got back on my feet. Mine were not like Frank and Marie and were very supportive when I was ready to live on my own again. But as with Robert, it can still take a toll on your self-esteem. Hilarious scene, but very thankful my parents weren't Frank and Marie.

Ray is his brother. Of course it's his business, not just Marie and Frank's. Ray did the right thing encouraging his brother to move out because he loves him. How could you want your 40 year old son to keep living with you because of your own selfish needs?
