Have you seen Puzzlescript games? Not having to worry about pesky things like 'graphics' and 'user interfaces' frees up all that brain power for making puzzles!

14:10 Unfortunately yeah, pushing the blocks around have been kind of annoying in so many puzzle games. I recently played Block Buster Billy which is a math baba-like and there is SO MUCH pushing that's unnecessary especially because multiban isn't on. It's something I'm worried about with Jon Blow's sokoban game too. SquishCraft does end up having a couple maneuvering levels, partially it's because it "needs" to be cramped as the designer tries to prevent you from doing some cheese 7-into-6 squish in levels with multiple blocks.

The artstyle kinda reminds me of those of games on Scratch, which I actually find really charming. I remember going through the website to find the one in a hundred interesting project, or the one in a million incredibly impressive project. It's pretty inspirational such a silly looking game can be legitimately good and get recognition for it.

To unlock different things you need to squish stuff and put it in the portal, also the world you got to by holding tab is just some new mechanics and big version of thing on the first level, you have got to go tackle it!
