Nick found this tune from 2005 buried deep in a hard drive and decided it needed to be shared. Written and performed with long-time friend and collaborator Curt Grubb on Nick's bus on a day off of tour in Milaukee.

I wish I would have stumbled upon this a year ago. Kind of makes me tear up thinking about someone I had to let go of. Funny how music works. I lost my twin flame about 5 years ago and I had to let him go. You barely know me but I am forever grateful for this song. And thank you to you and the guys for still hanging around to get me out of the blues and putting me in better spirits.

Love it. Nick by far has the best side work out of the band, been a fan of everything.

Beautiful! I cannot wait to see yall in Atlanta this month. Not sure if you ever read these. But your music has saved my life and pulled me thru the brightest and darkest times of my life. Honestly, if it were not for 311, i wouldn't be the person i am today. So.... thank you!

Wow, this is really amazing Nick. Sounds like a radio hit that should have been! and of course - "That is a shout out to the words of Curt Grubb / The motherfucker is no scrub"

My God, this song is perfect! I can’t stop listening to it. I would love to hear a whole album of jangly, poppy, happy sounding, sad songs like this. Thanks for sharing this.

Curt taught me a lot about music when he recorded my band when I was a punky teen & hearing this collab with the frontman of my fav band is just awesome in the deepest way possible

in the middle of a situation which the lyrics describe perfectly and give voice to my thoughts 😪 this is a different direction in sound (I like it!) and your voice sounds really great. Hope to hear more of these hidden gems. 🙌🏽💞

Maybe a second nick hexum quintet album? 🤔

How about just a whole lot of singles until we reach 13 and then we bundle it together and call it an album?

This music has one unique problem, it´s too short.
