Mine was “stage 4” w/ ascites (alcohol-20 years hard) stopped cold turkey, detoxed in hospital upon diagnosis (I KNEW) brain damaged from HE -untreated due to lack of knowledge!!! BUT I’ve lived nine years, still going and meds are managing fluid retention and blood pressure… lactulose 3x and Xifaxan is a blessing…lemon water every single day since leaving the hospital from the final admission since 2015. Hepatic Encephalopathy was the biggest hurdle and still is main obvious issue. Otherwise I’m lookin’ alive! Changed my diagnosis terminology a little: to compensated Mom said I’m healing. I don’t argue♥️ DO NOT GIVE UP if you have a choice❤️love to all caregivers!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was very encouraging . I have been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver which came as a shock . I treated the news as a death sentence but Planet Ayurveda have shown that there is some hope . They also gave a good treatment/ diet plan of liver disease .

Metformin is unlikely to lead to cirrhosis. diabetes per se is the major risk for cirrhosis. Hope you are in good health.

Can you do it anyway have th bill you? They have to take payments legally 20 dollars a month do a payment plan. When Bill comes let it go to collections! And pay it that way. 20 dollars a month. I did it 5 yrs for a surgery. Eventually after 5 yrs it was paid. Hope this helps alittle.

My husband is suffering from liver cirrhosis and stomach cancer. He has received three chemotherapy but the doctor at Tata hospital, Kolkata, has advised him not to take the 4th chemotherapy which he was supposed to take because the liver (cirrhosis) is not in the receiving condition. Steam cell therapy does have a role in early stage of liver cirrhosis. But once it advances to Florid decompensated stage- the efficacy comes down as the scarred liver doesn’t allow the stem cells to work properly.

I have compensated advanced chronic liver disease. My gastroenterologist hasn’t done anything. No referral to hepatologist, no advice, nothing. I’ve lost 35lbs since diagnosis and was only just diagnosed with cCALD, so the weight loss isn’t working I don’t think. Basically I think they’re just waiting for me to kick the bucket.

@@saiganesh5757 Thank you for asking. He’s lost 33 lbs from stopping the beer drinking and eating shitty processed foods and sweets and salts. We’ve had extensive blood tests and A Ct if the abdomen with contrast. He had an in if stuff AND that drink! We weren’t forced, but wasn’t aware until we go there - to a new gastro list in our town- it’s harmful to liver and kidneys! but, he did it and it’s done Sadly in the midst of all this both our family practice doctors dropped us to go into more of a health field. Instead of just medicine. Pfffft. For $2000 a year each we can keep them. So we do not have a General Practitioner currently and therefore the tests showed up on his MyChart. I read them. It looks bad to me - but, I’m not a dr. Hubby has no interest in looking at them. But would consider going to gastro if he can read them to us. We still standby Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. We see the results in weight loss. His vibe is good. He’s 62 and been working all his life. Still is. He hurts and is tired. Right now whatever is wrong is wrong. He does not want biopsy’s and colonoscopy and the other one down your throat. That’s what they want us to do. He’s in no medicine. Never has been. He doesn’t want to spend the last years of his life doing that. It’s not him. He takes supplements. We research always. I have hope. I hope we are doing the right thing He is my world. Thanks for asking about him

Hi dear. Unfortunately the treatment of liver cirrhosis is not so simple that one medicine name can be shared and patient can get cured. The intent of the video is to educate on Compensated and Decompensated liver cirrhosis. There are several treatment options for cirrhosis based on the type of decompensation ( like ascites, jaundice, variceal bleed or Hepatic encephalopathy). Your treating hepatologist will classify your stage and hence start treatment. Hope you do well in future :)
