theoretically while calculating you may get non inverter is ok ,if there is no direct sunlight falling in room for example if room is in ground floor ,but practically if the room is in top floor the ambient temperature is always variable .Motor speed in non-inverter type air conditioners remains constant and temperature is adjusted by turning the motor ON and OFF, which consumes more energy. In inverter type air conditioners, temperature is adjusted by changing motor speed without turning the motor ON and OFF.

you can refer to daikin or Mitsubishi electric or any other ac manufacture website for inverter vs non inverter ac power consumption comparison!

What you said is rit only. But just imagine how long the motor will run to maintain the temperature?? If the ambient temperature is 38- 40 and you want your room to cool to 24 degrees , then maximum a non invertor AC will take (1.5ton ) around 1.4 unit in an hour. But for an invertor AC it will take more than 5 units in an hour since the motor will run at high speed to bring down the temperature to 24. Then subsequently the current consumption will reduce since the motor will vary the speed to maintain the temp. U may pls refer how companies are telling non invertors will consume very less current . Companies are calculating power consumption based on year round basis. Don't trust advertisements , have your own calculation. I had been a part of a refrigeration company for 3 years. That's y thought of giving a reply to your video

Hi thanks for reply. 👍🏻 I partially agree on compressor in an inverter AC runs the entire time, an underpowered unit will keep running at max capacity,may result in higher power consumption. Thats is the reason why the dual inverter ac was introduced slow rotational speeds which results in lower motor operation reduced energy consumption due to more variation in tonnage, and faster cooling by the operation of twin rotary compression.

And also Inverter AC can run at 20% 40% 60 % ..etc capacity so no need to give over work to compressor if your taking high ton capacity inverter AC for your small room. if the unit is underpowered then it may result in full time rotation of motor. for example 0.8 ton AC for 200 sq. ft room. pinne main reason they are more efficient is that the design overall is more efficient pinne small permanent magnet brushless motors are more efficient than the PSC (permanent split capacitor) induction motors that they replace and the refrigerant circuit itself is usually better designed with active feedback in the form of either mechanical or electronic expansion valves. atinte controller in a well designed system knows all of the operating parameters (airflow, temperatures, humidity, pressures, Etc.) and can adjust on the fly to minimize the power draw for a given set of conditions.

Also the compressor life expectancy is more when it run 50% or less capacity most of the time. So you will get more life. If you get .8 ton or .5 ton it will always run above 60% capacity. @@aforexplore yes, that is actually a very good advice. Previously we bought 1.8 ton for large room. Now we have two one ton AC in the room, also added a seperation. So when we use that specific part of the room we will use that ac. Effectively we reduced consumption by 50% overall. When we need both part it will consume little more energy.
