In chapter two of the cabinet building series, I’ll show you everything you need to know about building shaker style cabinet doors and ebonizing wood. For these doors, I chose to veneer them with white oak and walnut using an MDF substrate. And this ebonizing process resulted in the blackest boards I’ve seen.
