Great advice for native Spanish speakers who seem to use entonces all the time. I can't say as how I've ever heard a student of Spanish overuse the word, but perhaps its wise to warn them not to follow the bad example of hispanohablantes.

¡Pero me encanta la palabra "entonces"! 😂 ¿Es "digamos" una buena alternativa a "supón que"? He escuchado "digamos" usado en conversaciones antes, y lo uso de vez en cuando.

Tengo una duda que me da problemas mucho tiempo... Qué sílaba tiene acento en la palabra "dice"? En los dicionarios online, suena como "DI ce", con acento en la primera. Pero cuando la gente habla, suena claramente como "di CE", en la segunda. Por ejemplo a 3:48 Pues, creo que cuando hablo informalmente, sería mejor decir "di CE", no? o es que yo estoy escuchando mal esa palabra? Edit: ok más tarde en el video dijiste "DI ce", entonces supongo que "di CE" es simplemente como se parece en algunas circunstancias en donde personas estan cmabiando el tono de voz?

Hi! Native Spanish speaker here! The verb 'decir' is always pronounced "deCIR', and the word 'dice' is ALLWAYS pronounced "DIce", because the particle 'di...' is the root of the verb so it's always the stressed syllable, and what follows it is the conjugations for some of the pronouns (this is not true for all the conjugations, tenses or pronouns, but it is for some): Verb: decir. Conjugation in present: Yo *di*go (digo). Tú *di*ces (dices). 🇦🇷🇺🇾(Only in Rioplatense Spanish and some other countries) Vos decís🇦🇷🇺🇾. Él/Ella *di*ce (dice). Nosotros decimos. 🇪🇦(Only in Spain) Vosotros decís🇪🇦. Ustedes *di*cen (dicen). Ellos *di*cen (dicen). Conjugations may vary with the tense we are using.

It is extremely rare for native Spanish speakers to say or even hear diCE, and we immediately will know that's a mistake.
