Starting off 2024 with a music video of a track I rarely can find online anymore. Focusing on the PRR's "Don't stand me still" which was one of the railroad's slogans besides "The Standard Railroad of the World" with several scenes focusing on the twilight of steam (As the track was released in 1947) on the PRR minus the 1 60s Strasburg scene cause I figured it'd fit the best with the "Pennsylvania Dutch" line and also adds variety.
Also gotta love false copyright claims from companies with no authority of the claimant for fraudulent stealing of my money. In this case its the faker called LatinAutorPerf.

I've had a lionel Pennsylvania Flyer set since I was a little kid and the boxcar said "Don't Stand Me Still." But no one knew why it said that and I couldn't find anything about it. Now I know. Thank you

This is a parody of the 1934 song "Don't Fence Me In," famously sung by Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters. I might love this even more than the original. It makes me want to go out to the yard and hitch up a consist of my own.

Actually its the opposite. This was released in 1947, "Don't Fence Me In" was released over a decade previous in 1932.
