A hint, I don't use sand pegs but we carry the very short star pickets from Bunnings. Go through any type of soil and are rigid enough to tap and remove. The plastic ones just vibrate. We attach to rope with a 5 mm Karabiner or d shackle also available from the big green church...

!!!! Guys , where do I start!?? Such a great upload! For those who arn't aware.. To surf Lennox Head, booties are a very good idea, jumping from the boulders is just dodgey and dangerous, whether you cut your feet, roll your ankle, ding your board jumping out OR coming back in THEN, dealing with the locals, that can be worse than dealing with the Sharks! So, Keelan for you to nail that ride from 1;47 to 2;34 ( 50 secs ) was Insane!! 10/10 mate. Very good call to stay at ' Mullum ', very good info for those who arn't aware of how busy Byron is any day of the week, let alone a festival weekend. Viewers may not know, the effort you guys put in for us.. It's a good 40k run ( 30 mins ) from Mullum to Lennox, great effort. Hey finally, when you guys drove along 7 mile bch, as you parked Leroy into facing the Land, if you looked up, you literally would have spotted Chris Hemsworths Mac Mansion, ' Fort Hemsworth ', maybe fly your drone over that one next time!!! Good to see Sarah ripping it up out there! :) Broken Head is just North around the corner there, have a crack at that one next time! Such a good job with this vid guys, we love your work, stay safe and thank you for showing us a little pice of God's country. JT~ Currumbin 4223.

Byron Bay is too crowded, before my old mate (from Perth) Jack Cornell and his beautiful wife popularised it, it was fantastic. Funny story, a mate and I sitting down near the beach, having a larger or 7 watching families frolicking in the surf when a mob of leather clad bikies lobbed, dads grabbed the kids, shoved them into cars and fled. When the bikies took helmets off it revealed grey hair and beards. Turned out to be an ancients bike club, harmless. They told me later it happened all the time, but it gave them space!

So So good to see you surfing. 58 Plus yrs ago it was a lot less crowded surfing and a lot more enjoyable especially on a 3 to 5 man break. Any way was a great watching you and brought back a lot of memories.

Keelan if you want to keep surfing and want your sea ulcer to heal pack it with zinc and then bandage it . The zinc keeps the saltwater out and lets it heal. Old surfers trick going back to when I was surfing over 50 years ago. 👍

Just subscribed today - we lived in the Northern Rivers for 12 years and Lennox used to be a fav day trip from our home base in Lismore. Feeling homesick for the East Coast and the beaches and the great surf.

I'm heading to Brunswick Heads for 3 months to hang out with my mum. It's a shame you never checked out the BEACH DRIVING just a bit more north at Wooyung. Go on to the beach there and can drive up to Potsville and it's free. I'm going to take my VW Touareg 2017 7P V6TDI Adventure , just loving the factory fitted standard Air Suspension, just raise it up to go 4x4 on the beach

Another great episode your going to love Beach Driving at Minjerribah (Straddie) Flinders Beach is a great camp ground. My 2021 GLS Triton could use some help getting the revs up. Happy travels.
