Did you visit the Little Ships Club on Straddy? Top spot, my second home when I lived in Brissy. Only fish on a rising tide, any other time the fish stay home. I loved your comment on the caravan coming off the beach, Sarah, cute as !!!!!

Gun it on that sand! Lol Stradbroke island brings back so many memories ! Every Christmas holidays as a teenager we would set off! So much fun spent there, getting people to buy us XXXX beers, pissed at at the Stradbroke camping ground trying to act straight in front of the olds, chasing boys, blue bottle stings, sun brunt to a crisp, my first spliff and first pash lol thanks for bringing back the memories. My dad, brother and sister that I spent those holidays with have all unfortunately passed away, so bought a tear to my eye. Great to see you enjoying your lives and doing what you want to do, living the dream! You both deserve it, very proud of you! For a young couple it’s inspiring to see ❤! Great information ! Spewing we missed you guys, we just left the island last weekend we were camping in zone I… fishing tip, don’t fish in the middle of the day. We do sunrise and sunset and we got a large haul of Taylor of Flinders and main beach….welcome to our back yard

Hew guys. A suggestion would be to get the Weber trivet system and two grill plates for your Weber. It will give you better options for roasting and allow for indirect heat and not directly cook the bottom. Great video and hope you enjoy our home state.

Still expensive sealink there but probably a smidgen cheaper than the KI one in SA , we have the most expensive 45 minute ferry trips in the world , I see why folks fly out off Australia and go overseas for cheaper holidays , great time you guys having we love ýour videos play safe 😊

Moreton Island next hey. If you take the van .stay camped on the bay side. And do a day trip to the Cape and surf side. I love straddle, been there 100s a times.. good big tailor fishing off north point. Surf is on the east side. ( obviously ) As far as beach camping on Bribie, with the van. I would not bother. Honestly. If you go to Fraser. WITH THE VAN, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO OVER OR PAST INDIAN HEADS. YOU WILL FAIL AND RECOVERY WILL COST A FORTUNE . Good vids guys . Nailed it.

Spent most of my earlier years over on Straddie. The sand isn’t ideal to drive on. You did well dragging that caravan through it. The ferry is a little overpriced I think. Never used to be so expensive.

Straddie is a good place I'd leave your van on the mainland if you's are thinking of Moreton island then Bribie island a nice spot all in a short drive from each other and close to brisbane

Take the breakfast plate off, put grill plates in. Get a kaon baby q roasting tray with a Weber trivet. Use a thermometer into chicken should be > 70 deg c. Nice poppers btw 👌

Keelan and Sarah, awesome spot. We were in ‘H’ on Flinders end of March for a week. Perfect when there is south or SE . I was lagging my ass of as I was also fishing in shoulder high water and got SFA and yet our camp neighbors in a big rig pulled in 6 great sized dart one morning . What an island - I was a regular when at school in the late 70’s and then work got in the way so only revisited this year in our 2020 VX and a hybrid. We use the In deflate for our rig and the gauge is shit - so inaccurate not funny but at least it does 2 tires at once! Why you guys in a rush? Slow up and enjoy, the cost is all in the ferry that is same regardless of time your there and 10 days on Straddie is nothing, plenty to see including the lakes and tracks. Love the east coast vids mate…. And hats of to the new cook! 😀😝

Sam has made them accurate to like 1 Psi, they are awesome just screw them on and does all 4 plus the van at once if you have two sets of 4! I reckon we had it max at 75% throttle on that soft bit, with our tune we are in the power band around 2700rpm-3500rpm I think we had it around 2700revs on the soft bits I havnt yet had to drop it flat on the beach

Your 4 Runner is bad ass bro, but what are your thoughts on the Tesla Cyber Truck and the possibility of having a solar caravan that can charge your truck? They say the cyber truck will come with its own solar panels and it can travel 500 miles without charge and the solar panels on the back hood can charge up to 15 miles every hour. I saw in one of your videos, you mentioned spending I think 150 AUD per week on gas. Imagine spending nothing and even being able to nap while the truck self drives.😂

I just went for 4 days over the Labour Day weekend. The weather was absolutely shocking and it just made it not worth it. Ended up changing the ferry and going home early. Especially with the cost of the ferry, I’d recommend checking the forecast before you go over there. Beautiful place though.
