Tyres are a very important part of a motorcycle and any vehicle to be precise. After my bike's ( BS6 TVS Apache 200 4V ) tyres were worn out, I started looking for the perfect upgrade from my stock tyres. That's when I decided to upgrade my tyre size. In this video, I'm going to explain in detail, what size tyre is best suited for your motorcycle if you decide to increase the tyre size . I have not found a single video in KZfaq where someone talks about the different markings of tyres (except for the load index which does not matter here) and suggests the optimum upgrade options..very helpful video..which tyre u r going for btw? I hope it's not TVS Eurogrip..Michelin and Apollo have great options i guess..

In your bike is steel braided brake line in rear brake line are stock or you installed it aftermarket and if you installed aftermarket steel brake line then tell me which bike's steel braided brake line you used that will be helpful and also can I used that brake line in bs4 ns200?

Can we downsize the tyre.. My tyre profile is 110/80 R-19 but in market tyre I am getting 100/90 R-19.. Original Aspect ratio is 88, but what i am getting in market has aspect ratio 90.

100/140 should be the minimum norm for any 150cc and above bike. I don't know why TVS provides 90/130 on a 200cc bike.

yesterday i have upgraded my apache 200 4v with apollo trampler XR at rs.5600 for a pair (front- rs.2000, rear- rs.3600). front- 100/80 17, rear 140/70 17 both tyre XR model. done 100km till now. experience till now is jabardast. on small potholes and undulations bike just glides. difference in ride feel is totally changed . acceleration is same as previous tyre, as before changing the tyre i noted the rpm at 40, 60, 80 kmph speed of old tvs eurogrip tyre. most important - after upgrading to 1 size up, in rear gap between right swing arm and tyre is very less.

Yes changed them for the first time . I got 21k km out of them. They started to show slippage at 19.5-20k

Switchable traction control. 7. Quick shifter. 8. Matt red mettalic color that was avialable in 2017 - 18 models.😍😍 9. Some cosmetic changes here and there to refresh the looks. 10. the bike has an issue of tapets getting loosen at every few thousand kms, it needs to be addressed. 11. Distance to empty and average fuel economy indicator. 12. Hazard lights. 13. Optional led indicators.

I have 4 yrs old R15 v3. Its stock tyre profile is mrf 100/80-17 front and mrf 140/70-17 rear. I am looking to upgrade tyre size with radial type. Can I go with Ceat zoom rad x1 150/60-R17 rear and ceat/mrf/tvs 110/70-R17 front? As 150/70 and 110/80 tyres are rarely available in this section. Please help.

It depends on multiple factors - road conditions, heat in tyre, tyre wear, tyre design. Only radial/non radial can’t determine wet grip

In short - If you want to upsize the tyre, go for 140/70 R 17 and 100/80 17 tyre size. Don’t go for other tyre sizes
