Hello from Motherwell, Scotland. I have literally been obsessed by this one song since 1st hearing it in 1985. Without a lie, with the exception of the band themselves, I doubt there is anyone on this planet that has listened to this song more than me......its a standing joke with my wife and kids. I want to tell you that your rendition is peerlless......without doubt the best ive ever heard. Your verses 'riff pace' Is brave as you are doing what a young charlie did at Live aid 1985 in Philly, and your embelishments are ridiculously good. Grab a whisky and take a bow mate.......simply wonderful. (PS I was at the Hydro concert....the one you used for your backing track) Im glad you cut out Jim doing all the shhhing the crowd part....i wish he'd stop that😂😂😂😂😂
