If we believe In the Lord we are Saved and Sealed

I spend a lot of time replying to atheists who insist at one time they were believers…They grew up going to church. They can quote scripture chapter and verse are they saved? How did their belief become unbelief? Scripture says if we believe in our heart….what is that? I am not disagreeing with your comment, but I do think a lot of people believe in God rather than on Him. Some of those that are commenting here. They tend to mix grace and law. Even very famous teachers such as John MacArthur, who has a tremendously successful ministry in terms of numbers at least. Anyone you asked there would say without reservation they believe, are they saved? I would say no most are not. They have become christian small c believing in god, but what god? Here is the truth, every person with faith believes, but not every person that believes has faith. Those that do and those that don’t often question their salvation. After all we are nasty sinners, the thing that all religious people and Christians have in common is that we know it. Those with faith ultimately never question God…..they cannot, faith will not allow them to do so. In time they will come back to the promises He made us and rest in them; but those with an intellectual comprehension and belief held by that never encounter God. He is for them a concept they flesh out through religion and misappropriated scripture. For these their comfort is the law. They always mix law and grace and teach a perverse gospel of legalism. They tend to terms such as Calvinists. Scripture does say believe, but it specifies that belief. Can I ask you what is faith? For by grace are you saved through faith and this not of works lest any should boast….. The righteous live by faith…. Yeshua and Paul both make it clear that faith and only with faith can a person come to God….. SO I ask you what is it and where do we get it?

Great sermon I would have wished though you had stressed faith as Paul did and explained what it is. I understand it should be quite obvious in Christian circles, but the reality is I find it is the single most confused aspect of Christianity, and yet without it there are no Christians; just religious people who think they are saved......

White straight male in the baptist pulpit. Always.

robert b Why is that wrong? Judge the message presented behind the pulpit not the race behind the pulpit”.

Promise Journey talibaptists run all white churches in mixed race towns. And a gay pastor would never be welcome in the pulpit. And the southern baptist convention has decided that females cannot be in the pulpit as a matter of resolution . Would never attend your brand of church

@robert Christians care about what God has written in the Bible, not what men see is okay. So as per Timothy women should never preach in a church.

Kim Shares women should stay home “during their time,” - Leviticus. So you’ve disobeyed the Bible - just by being a woman.

Robert was this message wasted on you? At the end of the day you are a legalist, quoting a law you can't comprehend nor keep. Still you insist you are Christian. Why? As a Christian I by faith acquire from Yeshua the life I was to live but could not. For by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified, that is Christianity. You have been lied to and clearly are convinced of another gospel, of works of religion rather than grace and Sir I would by no means wish to have anything to do with your path......You may as well become a Buddhist. The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned, So these instead embrace the law.The law can not and will not save you it is there to kill and condemn, but you have chosen it...One of the greatest Baptist ministers I ever listened to Adrian Rogers was by no means a legalist. He by faith was led by the Spirit, but you Sir are lost.Naturally you don't think so.... I'm sure you're very religious, its men such as you that become the most ardent atheists, if they reach the end of religion and discover it was all a lie.For the righteous live by faith I will gladly leave men such as yourself to the law, but I wish then you would call yourself a Jew rather than a Christian, it makes it very confusing to others.
