He helped create all this in 2004 to 2008. Him, Sean Og and Ronan Curran, the lot of 'em. Their self serving agenda of pay- for-play and subsequent strike ruined the authority of county management teams.

sadly nearly 9 years later nothing has changed despite reaching the All Ireland Hurling final in 2021 let's be fair here they didn't come close to winning it the final was over after half an hour

It goes to show you how out of touch des cahill is on hurling when he blabbers on about the hurling highkings of cork and not condemning them so as to stay on side of them because they look after him. He is no presenter at all .

Bring back the fucking ban. Too many sports in Cork has diluted GAA sports. Rugby and soccer are encroaching on the numbers involved in GAA. Bring back expulsion from GAA for anyone caught playing rugby or soccer.

@@OnTheEdge86 aside from the game dying GAA in Cork is in real trouble let this sink in its now going on 18 years come next championship since cork lifted the Liam Maccarthy never before has hurling been in such a bad place in Cork the football is not much better either since 1990 just 1 all Ireland in 32 years says it all

@@kurtpunchesthings2411 Cork will win plenty more as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, but a lot of GAA people need to put down their flags, set aside their petty partisan tribalism and try to see the bigger picture. Hurling is in a very bad place; In fact, it's not even played. Soccer, Basketball, even the likes of tip Rugby are all frequently played casually in organised games with no ref. Not Hurling (or gaelic football for that matter), ever wonder why that is? Here's a tip, read the playing rules, carefully.
