The fact that such a statement is controversial does point out one of the major flaws of many politicians (not just American ones at that) that Trump could exploit to win the election. How Palestinians and Israelis have different narratives of historical events. Truly teaching what social justice is, means to others or what it could be. By teaching from both perspectives , critical thinking skills are further developed and provides students the opportunity to decide what they think for themselves.
