Outbreak is a serious rewarchable for me. Incredibly stacked cast and oddly some great action set pieces for a virus movie. Plus Donald Sutherland delivers an absolute clinic as the callous and chilling military general. May he rest in peace.

I will always remember Donald Sutherland as the bad guy in Outbreak as the corrupt General McLintock alongside Morgan Freeman. But then you remember the sort of camaraderie that he had with guys like Mark Wahlberg and Jason Statham and the beautiful Charlize Theron in the updated version of The Italian Job. Then he played the mischievous Liam Devlin with Jenny Agutter and Michael Caine in the Eagle has Landed. It's like people say about him, he's really played such a wide variety of roles and was such a fantastic actor but also had a tremendous warmth about his spirit, was so often smiling and laughing. He will definitely be missed. RIP Donald Sutherland.

Great tribute. I would recommend The Eye of the Needle to any Sutherland fan as well.

My favorite of his movies is 1900. Simply amazing.

An unbelievably stacked filmography that just continued to gain steam throughout the 2010s. Probably first saw him in Animal House and he was absolutely hysterical.
