Amandas "open range" take is worthy of her losing her chair and it being given to CR

1:00:15 In 1976 I was 12 and in L.A. little league. They did have limits on how many innings you could pitch per week. I was the only halfway decent pitcher on my team and we lost our playoff game because I had played too many innings.

I think starsky and hutch is an amazing movie I saw it on my 13th birthday with all my friends and I didn't realize it was frowned upon by others

Amanda needs to stop saying "yeah, yeah, yeah" whenever Sean is in the middle of an insightful point about filmmaking and culture. She's one of those inverse interesting people who hates talking about truly complicated, rich ideas and phenomena, and loves to say, silly, pop culture stuff, or just say "it's very important", "it's an Amanda movie" "His jeans are important"

One note about Revenge. It is based upon a novella from Jim Harrison (Legends of the Fall) and I don't think the movie strays too far from the source material.

I did listen to Bill's episode for Cast Away, last week. When he read the email from a fan. They mention, Chuck going back to Bettina's house, telling her the story and them ending up together. It's perfect.

Love this episode (love ALL episodes. I would have to say that Knute Rockne-All American set the bar for Sports Movies. Ronald Reagan’s portrayal of George Gip covers most of your categories all the way from overacting, apex moment, introduction, and the famous monologue. Just my thoughts. This episode is the most REWATCHABLE of the Rewatchable franchise. 💪💪💪👍👍👍

BS should have asked about the plane crash scene. That shit was legit scary (especially in the theater).

The first 5 minutes showed why Burt Reynolds was the biggest star of the 1970's. He had it all. He was sexy, charisma, a real big leading star. Man, I loved him, always will.

For any kid who grew up in the 70's, the Pizza Hut scene is 100% realistic. PH was THE go-to place after all little league games. The kids got a slice, the parents got a beer.

Reynolds is a bummer to me. His characters resembled him in real life, where he was care free but always landed on his feet. He felt bulletproof, but in real life, things caught up didn't end well. He controlled the ladies in the movies but lost to Loni big.

Funny how Simmons always talks about "kids these days" when he admits he can't sit through long movies. Sounds like a skill issue. If you look hard enough beyond the top #5 at the box office, there are plenty of worthwhile films that reflect contemporary times.
