Is this different from the Red Cross Power Red donation? They only let you donate every three months I believe. The machine is the same.

You can only donate whole blood once every couple months. And platelets you can do every three days because you get your red calls back which is why you can do platelets more often

Yes power red is probably red cells , a different component. The same machine can be programmed to do either.
