@@adoniss8404 simple, onion rings are hand selected for the perfect bite, with its ring shape allowing for a good balance of batter to vegetable. The blooming onion is more of a vegetable covered in panko, whereas an onion ring is simply something all to itself, a perfect harmony of texture and flavor. Not too much onion to be considered a base, and not too much batter like we see on fried chicken. It's mythical in a way, the onion ring. Still perplexed by it to this day

Pro tips: #1. throw it bottom side down on the table before the milk. It helps open it up. #2. When you first put it in the oil, give it a few love taps on the bottom. Both of these things will help prevent it from becoming one solid chunk of fried onion.

Trust they know what they doing, it actually wasn't done. They know the look they going for. The blooming onion 🌰 is never just supposed to be golden actually. It looked perfect & ready to you, but it still needed cook time. This operation is a famous well oiled machine, literally.

Okay, 1, you need to sift that old clumped up flower and 2, take your time to open the petals as well. Just what did that second dredge do, its like you were scared to get dirty. Then three, give it a tap right on the root bulb after you drop it to get it to blossom a bit better.😘

I was honestly really disappointed because I’ve been wanting to go for so long and I finally got to I spent a lot of money and it just wasn’t that good for me! The blooming onion was slightly burnt and didn’t even taste like onion I don’t even know how to explain it and I ordered my steak medium well which is right before well done and it was so red inside that there was still blood coming out of it the only thing that was cooked was the outside!🥴 the whole experience has completely turned me off of blooming onions and I love onion everything and have been wanting to try one for years!😩 I want to go back to try and give it a second chance but I’m too nervous too!

@@alliecat284 Wow, that sounds like a terrible experience for sure. I have never had a bad experience at Texas roadhouse in my life and I’ve been going there for years it’s even my mother’s favorite place. I’m not sure what state you’re in but if you want to try one that is good there is one in Belton, Missouri. Its the Home of Tate Stevens and TRH is right next to the Tate Stevens Water tower 🤣🤣. There is also alot of activities in KC if you never been.

I love these things I have my whole family try them and they loved them, Texas roadhouse has the best and their sauce is really good also. When my nephew was two he tried it and loves it today.
