I think Ann has the most powerful rock voice and she is one of my favorites, but Linda's voice may have been more versatile. Ronstandt could sing equally well in such a variety of genres including: rock, pop, folk/country, and opera. It's such a shame that Parkinson's has now robbed Linda of her great voice.
@LS-ki9ft4 жыл бұрын
@oldmanwitherspoon Stevie's voice is very unique and it fits well with Fleetwood Mac; but you are right, she does not have the force and power than Ann Wilson can provide.

They were all superstars. Rohnstads voice was more versatile. Karen Carpenter had the sweetest voice.

I was a teenager reckless hippie back when this video was made. I think it was done in 1976 before my accident which let me paralyzed for a while, but I eventually got better. I seen the band live many times. There used to be a van load of girl friends who would pick me up every weekend and we seen a lot of bands. True story, the Italian and Polish mafia around here hated me because they were nut cases and it was believed that I'm Jesus. Yep! True. They wanted it to appear like I didn't like girls and were trying to get me to be gay, but I never was and I always had "secret" girl friends because girls loved me so much. It was a bizarre life. When they seen they couldn't get me that way, after coming out of the hospital, the put an evil red headed chick up to try to mess with my mind, but she ended up falling in love with me and having my baby! However, she also thought I was Jesus. I had sex with her and she even stated it. When we divorced she still thought I was Jesus and wanted to hurt or get even with me or something like that, but prior to meeting her I was a liberal hippie. I had horrible things happen to me growing up, but I'm not going into it. To make a long story short, my Aunt knew Anton Lavey and I had to deal with a lot of crazy things. He wanted to make me look like Jesus, get me to be gay because then he would look the big heterosexual devil who saved all the women from me, but it backfired on him because I don't agree with the curse, and I wanted to free us all. Believe what you wish, but it is the absolute truth, and I can prove it. It was all psychological harassment because they knew they wouldn't dare out right murder me because if they had, then I would've been martyred and virtually everyone would've turned against them so they tried to do it with psychology and by making people believe me to be a misogynist, but I'm not one. Crazy huh? It was my life, and still is. Check out this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mLaYYMSF2r28j2g.html

Anne and Nancy Wilson...ROCK ROYALTY. The voices, the looks, the attenuation to not just one, but several generations spanning the 1970's through today. Flat-out bust-head BANGERS when they went there, and "break your heart into little pieces" with subtle emotion when they went that way. Such is their gift. GOD I love HEART!

Pat Benatar was always hard to figure out for me. Yes, she had and probably still has a great voice, but her songs just seemed much more commercial to me. I always viewed Pat Benatar as more of a solo act and Ann Wilson as the vocal leader of a great ensemble cast called Heart. What is great is the fact that Ann and Pat never seemed to be snippy rivals and that they really seem to respect each other's talent.
