I recall as a young girl I was introduced to Ms. Summers and I followed her I even had my mommy too cut my hair so I had bangs I still Love her today at age 55 and still sing her songs at karaoke and paid events I will end with this song. This one was one of my favorites when as I got older to understand what it meant. Thank you for sharing this video.

Right in the middle of the Disco which was more a rythm put on the melody than the funk which adds a melody to a rythm of interest. Only HEAVEN KNOWS eventually😮

I respect and admire disco divas like Alicia Bridges, Gloria Gaynor, Viola will, the ABBA girls, Barbra Straisand, etc, etc, but for me the greatest disco diva of them all was my forever and ever favorite Donna Summer, RIP

Donna Summer was never married to Joe Esposito. She was married to Bruce Sudano (Brooklyn Dreams) from 1980 until her death in 2012. They had two daughters together. Donna was married to her first husband, Austrian actor Helmuth Sommer, from 1973 to 1976. They had one daughter together.

Technically yes she is signing with her husband who is on her far right back signing and with the guitar. His name is Bruce Sudano. The man signing next to her is the greatest Joe "Bean" Esposito. He also sings Lady, lady, lady song for the movie Flashdance and many others.

Ese man es Joe Esposito, quien logro algunos temas en solitario y con su Banda propia, The Brooklyn dreams, como solista grabó la canción Lady, lady, lady, de la banda sonora de la película Flashdance, y con otros cantantes, como Laura Branigan, Brenda Russell. Su hijo, a su vez, no sigui el camino musical trazado por su padre, y se dedicó al Baseball, llegando a la MLB.

Sound and Video lost synch after just a few seconds -- too bad for this "live performance". This was one of her best, and one of the most hard driving Disco Hits !

This song would have been a lot better had she sing it solo or with a guy who had a better voice. His voice irritates e. I don't know why it just does. His looks are less than stellar too but that's besides the point. He must be an unknown. But as for the lyrics and the sounds, great tune. Donna Summer truly could deliver. RIP
