@@cupidosensual Disco had to be invented, so that Donna could be famous. In a later interview with her, she was asked about the disco queen title. She jokingly said she liked the ring of Empress.

Hi there. This is actually a short version of the remix. The original has a very prominent acoustic guitar track and stipped down production, reminiscent of the Everything But The Girl track "Missing".

They used parts of "I feel love" in the background music.

This is not the original version. And I believe this was recorded for the album she was working on for Sony Records around 2000/01 for her "comeback" along with Adonai, I Got Your Love, Freedom, etc. Then Sony restructured and the executive who brought her in lost his job - as did others. Then 9/11 happened and Donna went into a two-year funk where nothing happened and the whole project was dropped.

I love Donna, always have since I first heard her in 76. Truth is this track really isn't great- just another genric 90s dance track- one of thousands. Donna deserved better material than this. Keeping it real and giving an honest balanced assessment. As fans of any artist we MUST be realistic- not everything our fave stars do is fantastic- they are human- they can make mistakes, creativity can take a dip- this is real life. Donna Summer was and still is an awesome musician who in her day was a trailblazer.

You probably did listen Diana Ross, than Donna Summer. This song by Donna is pretty cool. It is different than all. Donna was a musical genius. God gave her that talent and she used it well. She created so many beautiful songs, and this is one of them. Her music will live on forever.
