Hey guys, because this was requested a lot, here's a new Game Boy video! ASMR triggers include button clicking and the sounds of game being handled. Enjoy! :) Unfortunately there's a high pitched sound that comes from the Game Boy, I recommend not turning up your volume too much!

The moisture in your breath can be bad for the cartridge.

the moisture and acidity in breath hastens corrosion in the contacts, which is why if you get a used cartridge for the older systems, clean the contacts beforehand (though stores selling them should be cleaning them before even bothering to sell them >.>)

And BTW, I can thrust the cartridge through the wind so the wind blows the contacts of the cartridge as well.

I remember saving up money for several months to get a gameboy when I was a kid. I mowed the lawn for everyone in the neighbourhood and I did did all kinds of chores at home... I finally got enough money to buy one, and I immediatly started saving up for Zelda - Link's Awakening, but after two weeks someone stole the gameboy :P That was my first experience with "If you want something, you work for it." Haha :P

I used to have a gold one of these! I actually just sold it with the original gray GameBoy and my Super Nintendo just a few weeks ago with all my games! The guys at the game shop were pretty excited that day haha

I used to have this exact console around the time the first DSs came out. I was 5 at the time and now I have no idea what happened to it, might save up for another once I've got the new Pokémon games ;)

If you really want to get into collecting for GB, I recommend starting now. A lot of GB games are extremely inexpensive right now, so it's definitely worth it!

Never ever should you clean electronics with water!! Corrosion will destroy the contacts of the cartridge. Isopropyl rubbing alcohol is recommended to clean them. When the contacts are clean, a functioning Game Boy should be able to play the game just fine.
