One of my favorite songs of all time. I just sent this to someone who will prob never comprehend how much I truly love her.. Some people only love being loved but they don’t have the courage to release the love they have been given..

I have to be careful where I listen to this, because it brings me to tears every time. What a magnificent singer.

I'm facing one of the hardest times in my life, battling depression, a lost marriage and family, recently laid off from a job. I don't know where the road will lead, I know tomorrow is never promised, so to stay alive and well, I will wish everyone of you the greatest gift I can give you..my prayer, for you and your loves, your dreams which you feel are dead are never until you are. Your light shines in a corner of the world to someone's darkness, someone you may never see, but they see that light, through your words, from your soul you can reach them, even but one, to save their life and let them hold on to just one word, to keep them alive for just one more minute, to see another hour shine like the sun. To make it through the day, to kiss the sweet spot of their pillow before the night may close on all hopes. This is my prayer.

I lost my father last year. He passed on Saint Patrick's Day. I would have seen him that night and spent it with him, my brothers, nephews and friends. We always hung out on Fridays. Laughing, arguing, drinking and listening to music. It was the best times. Things aren't the same now. I'm so blessed to have had him. For him to see my sons grow and for them to know their grandfather. Forever the life of the party. He was 83. I love you and miss you more then I can ever express Pop. I hope you understand and forgive me for some of the things that I never thought to say.

Donny Hathaway is an absolute master hands down he's taken a jazz song makes it in a contemporary classical music form and sing it like no one could ever do he's done the impossible.
