Hey everyone, Andrei Jikh here on "Don't Sweat It", and today I had the pleasure of interviewing the man behind the successful KZfaq channel "VegasLowRoller". For those who don't know, Dan films himself playing slot machines in the heart of Las Vegas and has been doing so for an impressive 11 years. With each video getting a whopping 100k views on average, it's no wonder he's made such a mark in the KZfaq community.
Dan opened up about his financial journey on KZfaq, revealing that he started with earnings of around $1,000 per month. But dedication and showing more of his genuine personality on camera catapulted his channel. It's mind-blowing that the ad revenue from his content has been so lucrative that he was able to purchase a house, entirely in cash!
His audience, majorly aged between 35-64, isn't just viewers. They are a community, and some of them are so committed they even plan their Vegas vacations based on the casinos and machines Dan features. Speaking of his fanbase, Dan had a few intriguing stories up his sleeve. The most eyebrow-raising one? A super fan turning stalker, unearthing his childhood addresses. Though unsettling, thankfully, none of these encounters have been threatening.
Now, onto the part many of you may have clicked for - the gaming side of things. Ever wondered about the mechanics of different slot machine games? Dan is your guy. Im sorry i didn't know about this channel until your interview with Daniel. It was like we were all in your living room and part of the conversation. It is my husband that has cancer that Daniel talked about meeting and it did make me tear up knowing he was going to meet Daniel. Daniel was so kind, and let him get a picture. It surprised me to hear that impacted Daniel as much as it did us. Ok, im not tearing up again! Thank you guys for a great interview, and thank you again Daniel for all the laughs, and the memories ❤

My hubby had cancer as well. I'm the one Daniel helped also NG ,Diane Evonni ,BC, life of a gambler. They also just helped during Covid as well. I know these videos have worked for alot of people. Gamblers and non gamblers.

I never watch hour long videos without skipping, hell I don't watch 30 minute videos without skipping and yet I watched this entire thing and probably would have watched another hour. Daniel is quite literally the only slot channel that doesn't annoy me. It was great to see a much more personal side to him.

I found Daniel by clicking on a Gas Station Millionaire video years ago. He played slots in a Vegas gas station & was being hounded by a homeless person. He was so kind to them & left money in the machine & told them they could play it down. The dude cashed out immediately so he could buy stuff in the store. Now, I watch him pretty much daily. He is absolutely a bright spot in my day. Some of his one liners are so funny and he's right, it just flows from him. Love to see him win big and hope all his wishes for the future come true!!!

VLR is honestly one of my top 3 heros. He’s right behind Tony Hawk in my eyes. He saved my life 10 years ago. I was depressed and damaged. Watching his videos and his joy and laughter brought me out of the depression and brought me back to my self again. Watching his channel grow, the support and his story over time encouraged me to be a warrior again. I’ve never met him, though he changed my life and I will always support him for what he has done for me. Thank you VLR ❤

I personally can't fathom how people enjoy playing and/or watching slots. It's all algorithms and you're always going to lose in the long run so I don't see how people can get exited when they win when you know 2 hours later they will have less than they started win. Spoke to many people and even been in casinos and see them all excited and getting a rush with flashing lights and spinning wheels telling me about how much money they've won but they're all broke and never have any money and the last £20 they have they put in the slots...

A huge part of the formula that's never discussed are the beautiful new slot machines that have been designed by psychologists to mesmerize and ADDICT people. Not dissing on Daniel, he's awesome, but honestly I can't believe companies like Aristocrat don't copyright flag slot videos. It's their machines that are a big part of why it's fun to watch.

What makes Vegas Low Roller a standout in gambling vlogging is not the sessions of winning but the way he makes it fun and entertaining. He puts a lot of work in every video and has been consistent. The other big channels are more dedicated to winning big, while Daniel makes everything fun. He is a legend. I will have to mention channels like NG, The big jackpot, Lady luck..all of them are so repetitive.

I also watch Dan every day. I love his channel over all the others because he is not fake. He is so respectful to all the viewers who approach him when he is filming. He calls us his friends even though a lot us of have never met him. He is funny, and cheerful, makes me laugh, and most importantly the love and respect he has for his mom! I know he makes money off our views, comments, liking the video and I make sure to log in every day to like the video even if I have to watch it at a later time. Daniel is my above all hands down favorite slot channel. His personality and the way he speaks to you is unmatched. I love when he gasps when the first bonus symbol hits the board and I jump and scream when he hits the jackpot I get so excited for him. He is the real deal as far as a real person. I watch Daniel every day. I love him. I’m a huge fan of comedy and he is very, very good at it. His overall manner is bright and gentle. He makes his viewers happy. So it’s no surprise to me that he is making money from being an entertainer, any more than I would be surprised to learn Seth Myers and Jeremy Clarkson are doing ok.

All he does is say the same thing over and over, literally 100's of times in short periods. These people are massive sheep, not only do they not realize they have a serious addiction to slot machines; they're paying someone to gamble and watch.

This was a great interview! I have been watching VLR's channel for many years, he was playing small amounts of money at that time and started to bet higher as time went on. @@stitch438 Obviously his videos are entertaining, which is why I watch. And why are you yelling? Lol. It's not that serious. Jokes aside, his gambling affects my life in no way, shape, or form. But what he does do for my life is make me laugh my ass off. So yes, he's absolutely one of my fav people. Why would I care if he gambled? He's doing just fine lol.

I watch Daniel's videoes everyday. 1 while I eat lunch. The 2nd when I'm winding down for the night. It really is the best content out there. It really makes you feel like you're sitting at the machine playing. 👍

Boomshakalaka!! I've been watching Dan since 2012. I watch loyally everyday for his funny commentary. He's a very caring man who's made donations to food kitchens and he's rescued 3 doggies💜. My favorite!!!!

Daniel, you are a wonderful man, I looked after my Mum and Dad for seven years through their journey with Dementia. I found your channel by chance and after lunch we would watch your videos, we so looked forward to them, they made us smile. I still watch everyday, it gives me great comfort to remember my folks smiling. All the best buddy.

Thanks for the interview with VLR, I really enjoyed it and it was nice to learn a bit more about Dan. I watch all of his videos and really feel like I am playing alongside him, so much so that I shout at the machine for him and celebrate his wins! My family have adopted many of his sayings (much to the confusion of others at times!) I was lucky to meet Dan in January and he was kind enough to spend some time chatting with me & hubby. He is such a genuine person and I wish him all the luck in the future with his new endeavours. Really hope to bump into him again when we are next in Vegas and will proudly be wearing my new merch. Well done Dan - keep it up we love you 💖

VLR is the very first channel I've ever watched on KZfaq! He is so funny, makes me laugh, brightens my day. I celebrate when he wins and I'm sad when he loses and I get mad when he's reckless. He's just the most realest guy. I love his catch words, his courage, his humor. I love his mom "the family picker" she's so cute. I cannot say enough about this man who has gone through so many challenges over the years on KZfaq, that you may never know about. But I do. And he is so humble and so intelligent. A lot of channels that have become very big are bragadoucous and conceited and boring. Simply, he is the best.

I can't believe these guys didn't know about the gambling channels. I watch (70 + yr old female) and I get my gambling urge out on these videos. I find I don't need to waste my own money. It has helped me and countless others I'm sure.

You absolutely love slot machines; don't get it confused. The more you watch slot channels, the more you want to play. Why would you support someone's gambling addiction? Would you hand an alcoholic a drink?

I'm a big subscriber to Vegas Low Roller. I live vicariously through him. Such an entertaining channel. I like to gamble slots but don't like to lose. So I watch Daniel every chance I get. I believe it gives me the opportunity to experience the thrill of gambling, without using or loosing my Pocket Life. Lol . Daniel and Mombasa are the best.
