Im soooo bad at these but i love em. My dumb asss almost always needs it explained aloud or spelled phonetically for me to get it. Like: sofa king we Tod it. Stg it took me out for YEARS and i still kinda chuckle to this day.

How do you fix this? I'm allways outlandishly worried about something and random shit sends my mind racing to what would probably be an unrealistic sinario. Idk if that's anxiety but it's annoying af.

@@Nathan-er1pg You have to train yourself to stop thinking so much. It takes some time, but thought addiction is possible to get rid of, and that's the cause of any curable mind issues. It's like a drug basically, but people don't treat it like it is. Start by getting something positive you have to focus on so much that you'll stop thinking about everything else but that. It's like a crutch to help you stand, basically. It can be a new enjoyable hobby for you, focusing on the music you're listening to, etc. But the key is to process your thoughts while you're doing that, because people tend to simply accumulate thoughts and won't "digest" them until they're all gone and you're back in control. The brain is constantly on survival mode if you don't teach it that everything is okay (even if in the real world it's not), so don't give away that much power to it. Especially because one day you'll think sooooo much at the same time that your mind will shut down completely and go numb from the overload (like an overdose), and that's when depression kicks in, and you won't notice it until you're in it. At that point, it will take some more effort to take care of that, but the longer you let it sit, the bigger it will get. And many people who've been in that mindset for a long time even say that they "like" it for some reason and don't want to get rid of it, yet they know they should. It's an addiction, after all. So, be careful and start working on it right now.

lmaoo the reason i put “leave at door” is because i don’t want to encounter someone who got dressed and worked hard today when i shuffle out in my “haven’t showered yet” outfit to collect a bacon mcdouble meal at 5:30PM but i never thought about how it’s weird from the other side too

Found the whole thing entertaining up until the last punchline… I actually laughed out loud because once he said it didn’t happen I literally went “that’s something my anxiety would haunt me with for a week” AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM😂 I have severe anxiety (to where I don’t sleep or eat without meds) so this whole thing really fucking resonated with me

As someone who had had three separate janitorial jobs, one at a gym, one at a movie theater, and one as a contractor for funeral homes, condo clubs, and an animal lab, I can honestly say the women's bathroom is ALWAYS worse than the men's.

I for real have never related to someone more in my entire life! I have anxiety attacks about ceiling fans just because I create the scenario in my head that they are just gonna fall on top of me when I’m sleeping. It used to be keep me up for many summer nights. It wasn’t until I got my sibling’s old room that I got a fan that wasn’t on the ceiling that I stopped having anxiety attacks that were as extreme. LIKE HOW HAVE I SURVIVED THIS LONG AS A HUMAN BEING IF IM SCARED OF A CEILING FAN?!

The mindset behind leaving the food at the door is to not humanize the delivery driver so it's easier to not tip. Versus when you look at the person you can't help but feel bad and give them a dollar. Personally if you can afford delivery you can afford to pay the driver, and if you can't maybe you shouldn't be getting delivery
