Tesla’s Model 3 is “the safest car in the US,” but...what does that even mean? What goes into determining a car’s level of safety? And how did Tesla use glass to help make it safe? So the guy who hit 43 g’s survived because the blood rushed out of him fast enough to not elongate the process of the G pulling force. If it were over the course of a longer time, even at less g’s then it would be the opposite effect. I watched this video of this engineering who hypothetically invented the euthanasia roller coaster. Basically you went on a roller coaster and after it’s super fast miles long, 8 loops. Continually pulling Like 8-10 G’s your dead. But most people would survive the first loop. It was only after the body gets hit constantly does it give up and die. Still though 43G’s!! 😱 what were they thinking! Idiots. It needs to slow down at a rate the pulls less than 7 G’s for a few seconds and then goes back to a constant and then again and again until he’s slowed all the way down. Although I wonder if let’s say you had a really long car, like where the driver sat, hypothetically let’s say was 50yards long in the cockpit. If you slowed the car down in the 2 seconds could you also have a mechanism that shot the driver from the back of the cockpit to the front at an equal force so they experienced no G force? And they canceled each other out?

Because there are 2 glasses sticked together with that plastic material, it's really hard to get badly hurt by shards, they will stay all in their place, maybe just some minor shards will fall from the collision point but it's not big deal

It's highest rated in Euro NCAP as well for 2019. (definitely not 'the world' but definitely makes up a large portion of the world's population as E-NCAP results are used as the basis of sales regulations in lots of countries outside of Europe as well.)

He vulgarised what load cells and accelerometers measure quite well but when he said that the force was measured in LBS or Kgs it kinda hurt my math/physics heart lol. A force is measured in Newtons and is an acceleration times a mass :3 (1 N = 1 Kg*m/s^2 )

I just want to say, DO NOT let autopilot completely drive for you. Keep your hands on the wheel, and pay attention. This system is still in beta, and it has its flaws. It isn't perfect.

Your point makes sense, until you remember that rear engine cars preform much worse in rear end collisions, so instead of having both kinds of crashes be safer, you change which one is more dangerous

The real reason these cars are so much safer is because they keep a few car lengths distance like you're supposed to. They don't get upset about people merging into their lane and they keep spacing.

Yes, I too would prefer they go out of business so I don't have to skip a 20 second sponsor segment at the beginning of the video. This is also better than KZfaq ads since you can't skip those. If you really hate them get something like SponsorBlock.

Ghostcatcher64 not the video it’s the amount of likes and comments. The engagement with the video, hence engagement algorithm. So us talking about it in the comments and driving the number of comments up is what this algorithm looks at to spread the video

A small suggestion for Donut Media. Whenever you specify weights, could you convert it to KGs and put them in brackets below the weight in pounds? Because only the US uses LBs and the rest of the world uses KGs. Also because I really don't get a sense of the weight in pounds unless I pause the video and use Google to convert lbs to kgs. Peace!
