Nolan, you should look into Carlo Rovelli. I suggest reading Seven Brief Lessons On Physics. It’s short and incredibly helpful at understanding the basic ideas behind modern physics and the philosophical ideas which spawned them. After that, you might try: The Order Of Time and also Reality Is Not What It Seems. All three of these books have drastically changed my view of our basic understanding of what we deem reality and also how I interact with the environment and others around me within it. Lastly, take a listen to Eckhart Tolle’s reading of his audio book, The Power Of Now. His thoughts on Time and how we should try to experience it will tie in nicely with the knowledge gleaned from the previous texts. “Nothing has happened in the past; it happened in the Now. Nothing will ever happen in the future; it will happen in the Now.”
