When I heard that Sunlust was really hard, I was a bit worried that it would consist of massive slaughtermaps like Sunder. Relieved to see that these maps are hard in a really intelligent way, so that a complete run can still take around 10 minutes, as opposed to over an hour. They're also just more interesting to watch.

"How 'bout a cyberdemon?" *gets a rocket to the face* I felt that. Also, that pain elemental in the inicial area of the final run had good comedic timing. You should give him a bonus.

The dedication decino has to providing insightful commentary in every single run, even the failed ones is truly a talent. That the "success" run is as well commented as the other runs is impressive.

Recently decided to wrap up Sunlust since I stopped at Map 22 back then and I've been rewatching your videos after each map to see how you approached things and I'm always impressed at how much more smoothly you get through things than I do. Truly skilled

I would adore a super cut of all of Decino's sounds and noises of frustration, disappointment, joy, jubilee, relief, ect ect. Then challenge one of us to see who can remix it into the neatest song, then have a Modder mod in a new weapon into Doom II engine that fires "notes" of the "songs" as Decino's weaponized emotions.

IDK why but up until the first arch-vile the play was so sublime, it was only like 20 monsters but it was very aesthetically pleasing

A very cramped map for sure, but thankfully easier than the previous ones as you said. The double death with the cyberdemon in outtake number 5, damn that was perfect timing. Im loving the outtakes as much as the blind runs :)

These maps keep getting harder, and it shows. I'm kinda missing the times when we heard "attempt number one" at the start of the proper playthrough.

Yeah, after watching your videos for a while I understood that BD's dismemberment is actually a bless. Removing caco corpses with supershotgun is quite useful feature for harder-than-vanilla levels. Espevcially when you climbing up the stairs and caco died on a top of it. If only pure Doom have some sort of doing it outside of doorframes and crushers.

It seems I did this in an odd order compared to you. I just made all the enemies infight at the start and hid in the hallway. After that, I did the bfg room first and the rest of the level fell into place. That secret with the bfg and mega-sphere would've really helped though. XD
