Eddie’s death in the first season shocked me, I know he was somehow linked to thawne, but I didn’t expect him to die tho. I especially love the cliffhanger of the season one finale

Season 4 was really good, so many unexpected things happened like Barry going to prison or the thinker outplaying everyone. We even got Ralph for the first time which was awesome.

The thinker is a very underrated villain, being the first significant non speedster villain Barry had trouble facing. He had a promising start with his big reveal until they put him in that goofy flying chair 😭. And yeah season 5 was pretty decent. Much better than 6-9. Well, thanks a bunch Eric Wallace 😃

I feel bad for Cicida. He started as a great villain,even though the rest of it was bad,until the story was giving him a satisfying conclusion by curing him and his sister's daughter,until that girl Cicida showed up. He deserved to be alive and have a happy ending.

What i think is a good last episode is that cobalt blue has a plan for the villains Savitar can go to infantino street and do the exact same thing as he did, which is kill iris in front of barry but instead of killing iris, barry was fast enough to stop savitar. For zoom, the same thing can happen that he wants to use the magnetar, and wipe out the entire multiverse, killing all the speedster, like season 2, barry races him, but this time barry caught up with him and knock out zoom. Godspeed can try and kill the rest if team flash and the other team flash people with power try and stop him but they cant. Reverse flash can betray cobalt blue and become the avatar, collecting the speed from the rest of the villains, and barry and him can actually do a proper fight or can just make flash 1 v 4 the villians What barry can do at the end, is he destroy the negative speed force once and for all. This will show how much Barry has improved and how much faster he has become

For me season 5 was the best. I just loved when his daughter came to the past to see her father. I just thought it was very sweet and wholesome especially when she found the video of her dad telling her that he's the flash and that he loves her ❤️ 😢

My biggest issues with season 5 is firstly, Nora is suppose to be closer to Barry and Iris age but she acts like a teenager (they could’ve literally just said she was 16 and a lot of the issues with her would be solved) and then the time travel. The time travel in season 5 makes no sense. They destroy the dagger and it just disappears like 30 years in the future, giving Thawne a way to escape. When it should’ve rewritten the timeline and through that, Thawne would never have been captured

Honestly, ending at the S1 cliffhanger is even more satisfying for me. We see Barry being an unsure guy learning to use his powers and how to make the right decisions. And by the end, he makes the right decision, lets his mother die, and despite knowing how outclassed he is against the singularity, still says, "I have to try" and fearless goes for it. That's the moment he becomes The Flash. Don't even need to know if he succeeds or not. His arc is complete.

Honestly, this is perfect. You got em all right. The last season felt rushed. They brought back the characters we loved just for them to basically be squashed. They didn't need to revive zoom, savitar, and the reverse flash if they weren't even gonna put up a fight.

To be honest defoe being a villian was quite A unique change to the story. Like how this villian wasnt a speedstar and how he was always one step ahead

If Barry didn’t stop and talk before a fight and just used flash time no one would have ever died or escaped

I think seasons 3 and 5 were a great place to end the show. Season 5 had a great finale, and an emotional ending, plus Barry faces off Reverse Flash and it's clear that he will always be there to ruin Barry's life. Season 5 gave us a look at the future of the city and the show could have easily ended with the audiences wondering whether he'll survive crisis or not.

Surprisingly enough, I agree with this ranking. I’d say that Season 8 for me was largely forgettable after Armageddon and I rather liked the Black Hole/Evaa Mculloch storyline with the exception of that ending (due to COVID-19), but I by and large agree with rankings.

for me, I like all the seasons I think they are all pretty good.

A huge problem with the later seasons is that they stopped with all the mystery and would reveal the big bad’s identity either immediately or a few episodes in.
