Fun fact: casting RDJ as Iron Man was the MCU's biggest gamble If RDJ didn't make an impression as Stark, it would have been joeover for Kevin Feige, Jon Favreau and Stan Lee. Luckily, Iron Man became a smash hit and the rest is history

Why do people think Smart Hulk is Ruffalos fault. There’s nothing wrong with the Hulks acting. It’s the writing that’s the problem. It would be the same way if Norton was still the Hulk. The actors job is to act what the writers give them.

It all comes down to the writing of the character and the direction the director wants to take in. Matt Shakman is an amazing director for F4 as he wants to make F4 in the 60s and he had experience with wandavision so I trust him so far

The direction that Ryan Coogler took Namor and Talokan/Atlantis in was genius. They had to differentiate because of Aquaman, and it made perfect sense to make them based on Natives so they had parellel struggles against colonization as Wakanda and Africa did

At first we all thought that these casting decisions weren’t good enough, but now I’m glad that we’ve been proven wrong after seeing these films with all of the specific casts. Now, I can’t wait to see Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic and the others. The lesson here: “Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover”. But I also hope the film does well.

Fun fact: most of the internet used to hate the idea of Heath as Joker because "they were giving the role of Batman's most important enemy to a gay dude" because, before playing the Joker, Heath had stared on "Brokeback Mountain" playing the role of a homosexual cowboy Man, they were incredibly wrong for judging him. Given how recently the F4 castings were announced and people are hesitant about Pedro Pascal as Reed and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and though I admit I still have some concerns, but nevertheless Im willing to give them a shot and Im excited to see what they do in the role. The point is people have a rigjt to be hesitant about specific castings but dont be too quick to judge said castings until you see what they can do in the role

I grew up with the Raimi Spider-Man films and iirc Duncan actually reprised kingpin in an animated show called Spider-Man The New Animated Series. It took place after Spider-Man 1 but before Spider-Man 2 in the Raimi timeline. Super good show but unfortunately it only lasted for a single season. That was actually my first exposure to kingpin and I loved that version.
