The police in AZ should face consequences for failing their duty to protect Charles. He asked for help many times and ultimately he was murdered. And even then, seeing Lori laughing about it and listening to Alex’s story full of inconsistencies they did nothing. This was not simply incompetence, this was negligence.

If this was the tri state area, 1-Tylee would HAVE NEVER BEEN QUESTIONED WITOUT AND ADVOCATE. She is a minor police have no business questioning her 2. A murder occurred while children were in the house/living in the house , child protective services would have been called right away. 3 - a background check on Alex would have shown he was a felon and was not legally allow to have a gun, and would have been immediately arrested. It’s crazy they don’t push her as to way she didn’t just give Charles the phone. I doubt this is what happened but it wasn’t her phone and to keep it from Charles was wrong. Not a great investigation from the start
