The judge was remiss in allowing her to turn her chair away from the victims giving their impact statements. I have seen judges tell the convicted to sit up and look at the victim. Lori was allowed to turn and hide her face in a book or something. Mormon justice is off. The prosecution and judge didn't allow all the victims to speak- he didn't even allow grandparents. I can't imagine someone not allowing me to speak on losing one of my grand children. They are the world to me. I am not impressed with him despite the long sentences. She was allowed to escape justice in her twisted head and not forced to listen to the victims give their impact statements.

I have followed this case from day one here in Australia, I am a mum to a 12yo daughter and an 8yo son, and this case really shocked me, how could any mum do this to her children, poor Tylee and JJ, I did not know them but still had more love for them than their own mother, and I am sure that there are people like me around the world who love and adore Taylee and JJ and wanted to see justice served, I will light candles tonight for everyone who were victims of this evil demon.

Either she is worthy of an Oscar for her acting abilities, or she genuinely believes this. I, too, had a spiritual visit from my older brother a week after he was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1968. And he told me he was just fine, and that I was going to also be fine. I am 74 years old, and think about what he told me every day in that visit I was gifted. But, it never entered my mind to kill someone’s because they were going to be okay in the afterlife. As for an insanity plea; even if she is found to be legally insane during her next trial, she will still have to go to a prison for the mentally insane, which is much, much worse than a standard prison. I find myself pitying her, especially if and when she wakes up and realizes what she did. I hope Chad gets the same sentence! I fully believe he somehow snatched her mind and twisted it into what we witnessed in her statement.

So vile. This case had so many bizarre elements, as well as religious ones; that the depravity of Lori, and her extreme vileness, was almost vying for some attention in the midst of it all. What she did, and the evil actions she directed, are so horrendous that they are almost impossible to believe. Yet, her and her smiling new husband, are joyfully experiencing a Hawaiian honeymoon in those unforgettable photos. The two of them together, and their shared delusions. They coupled up so quickly, and murdered shortly thereafter. It’s so absurd, yet it’s horribly true. Makes me more suspicious of strangers, than before.

As a country we all fell in love with those kids and Tami, they all were such bright beams of humanity and for Lori to make Tyler’s life seem like she was miserable was beyond messed up. If I were Tammi’s family and friends or Kate or Larry I’m not sure I couldn’t have jumped over the railing and just start beating on her. Great restraint on their parts. To justify murder by saying they are all happy now ? That she’s talking to Jesus ? Judge did right . My heart goes out to all those that had to listen to her.

Not even Lori’s sister Summer has heard her story that she died and left her body! Also, when you have an out of body experience, your body does not DROP to the floor! It rises up.
